They are ARTFX from Kotobukiya. Google that later on. Those are prototypes and I believe that kanji says 'under construction' or something to that effect. The other DMC ones from this manufacturer go for around $80 upon release. This could go for up to $120 depending.

I don't remember him ever saying that he had but I'm taking him at his word that he hasn't. Though if I could ask him a follow up question I'd like to know if he's ever play the GoW games.
