I see where the problem would come from though, seeing as technically the Sony version of a diagonal is down/up and left/right at the same time. Maybe I'm used to it lol

Yeah and can sometimes not register properly, thats why the analog sticks were added though. However with games that still use the directional buttons the issue remains the same.
