New DmC Trailer.

You want to know what Ninja theory thinks about you? They don't. They have important things to concern themselves with like making the best game they can make. They, and all the rest of us, who may or may not purchase this game depending on it's outcome, will keep an open vigil. You can soak and sob in all the reasons that killed the series you loved so much.

aww.......so defensive. everytime someone shares their opinion you and some other chihuahua come by and attack like its your forum. there are negativity and positive responses to all games. go chew on your dante stick now tito.

I don't know--even if that were not the case, what about the DMC3 opening? He eats pizza gets attacked by demons, rocks out to his jukebox while killing them, fights more demons, shoots billiard balls at them while holding his pizza in his mouth, and puts on his coat with overblown dram which nobody but Dante could pull off.

That's all pretty action packed right there.

I had to take that in said doses to fully absorb it's craziness.

However. This trailer is terrible. The nudity, the "picked a bad day for a hangover," "sexual deviant"? Are they kidding? And the pose toward the end that is sooooo DMC3 cover is either a forced reference or a slap in the face to the fans that still aren't pleased. Either way, it doesn't work. The line Dante says about his mom is nauseating as well. And the finger? They are trying waaaaaaaaaaay too hard to make this game "cool."

It's obvious I'm not the target audience for this game since I find just about everything in the trailer laughably bad at best. And I had been considering giving it a chance too. Oh well.

I don't want to sound like a douche bag...but remember Dante's sexual innuendo in DMC 4? And I vaguely remember him acting a little...ahem towards Lady before she shot him between the eyes. And Nero flipped Dante off in DMC 4 before he was absorbed by the Savior.
Besides, those quotes kind of show off his personality--trashy. OrigiDante would get "roarin' drunk" and he was a bit of a womanizer.
The pose could just be a reference (something I didn't catch, so I'd say it was subtle).
And I didn't hear anything wrong about the comment about his mom. He sounded ****ed off, really.
But, whatever, to each their own, right?




Besides that! Anyone else teared up a bit watching that trailer (sans sarcasm?)??? Because I did.

Just because the original DMC did some of those things doesn't make it a good thing. :P And all those things were spread out, this trailer had all that and more in two minutes. It seemed way to forced.

I guess if you see it that way :P I've learned something about entertainment, though: exaggerate things and force them at people because subtle is not the way to go.

EDIT: Anyone notice Dante didn't use the wip, by the way?
 
Concerning the DMC business, I feel its more of a grass root thing where Dante operates out of his trailer park home and just goes around killing demons. He probably has contacts that fill him in on questionable demon sightings and he checks him out.

I'm not against him putting together a team just as long as each member is unique in persona and powerset. I dont want to see a repeat of trish who plays like Dante.
 
I still want Lady to be in this game, Ninja Theory, that is the one thing I ask. Then I'll be all Shut up and take my money
 
Haters gonna hate. Seriously, that trailer was awesome, and I feel like people who are complaining are still upset over DmC. This looks good IMO.

I kinda feel like that too when reading through the comments. Those who dislike it have already made up their minds, so no matter how good the game will turn out to be, they will still hate on it.
 
I mean, come on now. People who call this trailer trash are shyitting themselves. This Dante is insane just like the old one. Insane like, doing stuff normal people wouldn't do (Ride missiles, surf on enemies, etc.), and now he gets dressed in mid air while being attacked? LOL. If that isn't over the top like the old DMCs then Idk what is. Also, this trailer shows that Dante still loves pizza! Seriously, IMO, this trailer just screamed DMC3 and DMC3 Dante. The combat also looks very smooth, and they brought back Million Sword Stab and a lot of other shyit. Omg it was just awesome...And now Dante's apparently a terrorist. XD Dante's all like "Hunt me, like I give a fuhk!" Not tryin to be homo either but he looks REALLY good too. Like, in the first trailer, he looked like a POS. Now his face looks healthy, he's muscular and no longer scrawny, etc. He even looks AWESOME enough without the trench. Then when he puts it on? It's like, OMG. It's like a different version of Dante...But deep down inside...He's still rebellious. Oh and, this shyit blows NG3 out of the water lol.

That is the reason why there are people who hate the trailer bro.Because of OPINIONS.
There are people who can't take this new dante because of how he looks like.Because of Emotions.

Duh. I know that opinions are opinions no matter how bad they are but I think it's pretty pathetic that all people do is complain about Dante's character design and ignore everything else. The game looks pretty good visually and gameplay wise.

I just happened to talk to those people recently.It's hard to argue when they ignore everything.All they talk about is the appearance and hair,hair,hair,hair,hair,hair.

Sorry dude but it's crap trailer, meh at best. This late in the game and we're still getting action trailers, it's been nothing but. The only news here was the million/trillion stab and Bob, an old move and a minor character, how exiting. All the really significant matterial came from the demo, not the trailer.
