Wow i'm still really excited for this game! The guy playing it was waaayyy better than the one at TGS. The graphics are looking really nice, the animation is very smooth (can't believe its running 30 FPS). The music is very DMC, I was expecting it to be like in tgs 2010 trailer or something, but no i'm likeing it so far. And did I see enemies dropping red ords?! Regarding the girl, she looked bald, but near the end I'm sure I saw brown hair.

Stop sounding like a martyr. The scenario just sounded too ridiculous for me to believe.
If I had a real broadsword, I wouldn't run around and slash it at other metal, because I would worry about scratching the sword. It would be on display on my wall, securely so of course, so people couldn't just go on and grab it.
But sure, if you really do have a broadsword and you really did run around smashing at things, well, then good for you, I guess.
The main point was that I like that it now sounds like Dante is actually hitting on metal with his sword, as the demons in here are metallic/robotic looking. It just makes sense to me. Of course, if Dante was to slash at something fleshy (*giggles*), then it would be a bad choice of sound effect. But we have yet to see and hear him actually do so in DmC.

The sound of the weapon is fine to me, its actually sounds like its not a clean hit, which adds to Dante not having his sword skills refined yet. Same with Ebony and Ivory. The bullets have a more aggressive sound and they ricochet all over the place.
And I don't know for sure but the very first thing Dante did was an "enemy step" after he pulled the enemy in. Don't know for sure if you can jump cancel but I never cared for that anyways. Also the Ax has improved so much from the past. The range is ridiculous with the whip and the ground tremor and whatever Dante shot out of it, while in the air @ 1:40. Then he actually did an "air evade"
And for 30fps, the speed is not terribly slow, its quite fast actually. I slowed down the combat just to see everything that was happening and i missed a lot of things.
The gameplay looks so much fun too!!
The whip is also looking good. Compared to Nero, i wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless i had a side by side comparison, and i dont think it would be a huge difference. And after Dante whips an enemy close, depending on when he swings his sword, thats when i see the most hand to hand combat. If you whip an enemy and do not attack, Dante will throw an elbow at them or a shoulder. If Dante swings while the enemy is in the process of flying towards him, he'll begin the combo, kinda like a slow ball pitch to on coming traffic. Which is basically what Nero does.

I actually have a old japanese Katana that was given to me by my dad who was a very big Japan nut.
And My big bro is a local maintenance man so we actually have a led pipe or two laying around.
And we also have a metal trash can.

A thing i don't get by DmC. They are supposedly gonna do aerial combat right? Which tells me you will be fighting in the air.
But i haven't seen many aerial attacks, and neither are the monsters air born. The monsters surround the ground where your floating.
And you may say "Cooldemon Dante is in the air - can't you see that?". I will say it's the same thing as in all previous DMC games:
DMC 1
0:57 Devil trigger - attacks from above
2:27 another air attack.
DMC 4
