It says Dante. but his proportions and posture dont look like that of Dante. There is also that V signature.
So who do you think he is?

It's Dante at the ending in the order!...He looks too cool!
I now know the meaning od "If he smokes he will be too cool"!

Hmm, looks to me like one of Dante's early concept designs. The V is what puzzles me; I'd even say it was one of Vergil's early designs (maybe when they were looking to parallel him more with neo!Dante than go with his classic appearance) if not for the "T_Dante_29" filename. Might just be a reference to Dante's relationship with Vergil as his only brother and greatest enemy, though.

I think it is the rebooted nero
It looks too slim and dangly to be dante
I think it is the rebooted nero, And the V might be because they changed his name to something starting with V
My theory is that instead of nero being vergil's son, he is actually a demonic clone of him ( hence the name with V)

I think Dante and Vergil tries to intercept Mundus in public in a sort of official party.
That's why they he is probably wearing a nice fit.
And he is smoking...Those two fingers are definitely holding smokes.

from the pic it seems that he is wearing a shirt tucked in and black slim fit pants (typical formal wear).
however there are boots and one of his sleeves are rolled up.
plus do you notice something yellow on his forearm?

Guys...guys...it's probably early concept artwork, which is in the game's code because you get concept artwork and other goodies for performing certain accolades. It might not have any bearing on the story, and is just an old concept design for Dante.

That was my theory. It also looks like the V may be paint on a wall, and the red specs near his feet may be the paint/blood on the floor. It could even be a concept image of Dante painting Vergil's initial on the wall for some reason.

But eh, it's clearly nothing too substantial.

Vergil's devil trigger?
Dante at the end of the game?
Concept art unlocked after beating the game?
It could be anything, but I highly doubt a new character, we have so many to begin with that another would be too much
