Guys...guys...it's probably early concept artwork, which is in the game's code because you get concept artwork and other goodies for performing certain accolades. It might not have any bearing on the story, and is just an old concept design for Dante.

is the picture censored? is it just supposed to be like a jpeg that's been enlarged to much and becomes pixilated? could someone with the proper software try to clean it up?

I honestly thinkthat besides two more boses the whole cast has been revealed.

If Sparda or Eva make a more solid appearence that'll be something but for all intents and purposes all the players have been shown. No Nero, no Trish, no Cousing Vinny.

I think This is a new character, however he doesnt appear only until the end of the game. He might be part of creating suspense for DmC 2

or he is just a concept art for Dante

It's impossible to clean that up. You can't summon pixels that aren't there in the first place. Resizing it to it's original size won't really give you a better picture either.

guys i cant keep up the charade. its actually me, all the fanboy rage mutated a computer virus into a sentient program. i attached onto the disk and became that character there. my sole purpose is to learn...how to love :'(

that aside, if it isnt me its probably dante at the end of the game all matured and what not. or alan moore has signed with NT which would be awesome

this being pixelated(I guess) probably means that they wanted people to data-mine the demo, they wanted us to see what's inside and to see the pictures like this, their whole Promotion of the game is relying on the Justin Beiber gambit; make something that will **** people off so much that it will draw attention to the cause. and now that it's dieing down again and theirs no more conventions until after the release date there's isn't anything else (after the vergil DLC was announced) they could do to keep people interested.

I was gonna say the same thing, DmC borrows many elements from V for Vendetta so that could explain that "V"

I have another theory:
We seem to have forgotten about the order, and how it may have more members other than vergil and Kat
What if this guy is another senior member who becomes the head after vergil's demise
So , vergil falls, Dante goes off to Open his shop ( thinking that the order is history), but in the end of the game we see this guy as the new leader.
That might explain the V, may after vergil's demise the order becomes renamed to pay respect to him
( Even more references to V for vendetta)

I think that it really is a villainous entity from the beginning
They are just using Dante and kat (possibly even vergil) to do their dirty work
It might be revealed that there some other higher power over vergil (possibly angels)

In a game that tells never to trust the media
we cant really fully believe everything we are fed
for all we know, the order also publicizes through media, the question is who can we really trust?
