I think Nero should be introduced after the 2nd game. It's too soon to be introducing a another major character after getting used to all the changes that DmC had.
But if he was in the game, make him his own self, not like Dante or Vergil...also not whiny and give him a better reason to fight that does not involve saving Kyrie. Also, I don't want him to be Vergil's son.

-Make him resemble his DMC4, just more humanized like Dante and Vergil, and not so whiny when he's calling Kyrie's name [apparently it's what he's well known for, screaming KYRIEEEEEEEEEE o.o].
-Ummmm, i'd like more focus put on his past and exactly WHO his daddy is [and even mommy]. If he's Vergil's son, show it, no alluding crap. If anything show him younger [like we meet him when he's a boy, and then when he's older in another sequel.]
-I'd actually like the opposite with the arm, less focus [that was always the eye the camera was on and it got frustrating.] If Nero's ashamed if his arm, he should hide it more and his choice of clothing should reflect that.
-White haaaaair, no mohawk even if I like Dante with his, Nero should be born with straight out white hair.
That's about it.

I'd want them to have him scream less. If they're going to give him a love story, don't make it so cliche. Give the woman he falls in love with more of a purpose rather than for Nero to chase. Plus make him think more, rather than always flying off the handle. Otherwise I don't think they should include him, anyway.

Don't kill me people, but I quite liked Nero how it was. But yes, I admit he can be anime-ish, and that should be fixed. Just his overly-dramatic antics.
And I agree with the fact that it's too soon for him to make his appearance. I also welcome him being Vergil's son, but ONLY IF the plotholes about that fact are eliminated.
Maybe in DmC2 we can be shown the events that lead to his birth (Vergil having a son we are not shown/never heard of in DmC is classified a plothole imo. Introducing elements to a story that we are not even slightly hinted at in the original plot is never too good a way to expand a world. It always gives the impression that something was added that was had never been contemplated before, and this always leaves a bad sensation behind, like there's something that, so to speak, makes the "gears" of the story work unsmoothly.). Then, in DmC3, we can have him as a protagonist/coprotagonist.

two minor gripes are he is two ragey for me he also is a dmc3 dante clone his combat is two simplistic and his claw is a i win button and also (let me just copy and paste something once i find it) he is able to smash the giant statue and stop the bad guys and it will be like YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY then a wild kyrie appered and nero's like oh no? then his sword yamato that is used to open a hellgate and demons kill millions of innocent people?
love, a false emotion that is easily dismissed and ignored made him weak and pathetic and dante had to clean up HIS mess
