not Nero...............its Nelo

translations of japanese games often get the Rs and Ls mixed up.

'Nero' is the more likely of the two and was probably the intended name.

LOL. :P Actually, you're all wrong Nel/ro Angelo doesn't actually mean Black Angel - It means Non Angel - Nero VirgilAngelo is a knight with a lot of pride and honour for his enemies, instead of an angel. It's all this honour he has that beg the question to the goodies of why he served Mundus in the first place.

Nelo Angelo or correctly...Nero Angelo is Spanish for Black Angel. It probably refers to his complete fall to the dark side. After all, Vergil was not completely evil. For one, he didn't try and kill Lady for one. Two, he fights purely with honor, a sign that he is still not a villian. Apparently, Vergil/Nelo Angelo was not quite evil, he was only brainwashed to be but apparently, the honor in him still exists.

Dante and the player would surely question his loyalty to Mundus as to being cowardly and deceptive

These are the exact things I'd say about him....nice opinion :)

They wrote it as Nelo instead of Nero because Japs can't recognize a difference between the L and the R... don't ask.
