music artists for next DmC

Ronin

Let's rock, baby!
If there was gonna be another DmC/DmC2, which artists would you want to appear in the next soundtrack?

a) Linkin Park
b) Evanescence
c) Lacuna Coil
d) Within Temptation
e) Haelstorm
f) Fireflight
g) Sanctus Real
h) Fools for Rowan
i) Flyleaf
j) Paramore
k) 30 Seconds to Mars
l) P.O.D.
m) Metallica
n) Three Days Grace
o) Skillet
p) Sick Puppies
q) Blue Stahli
r) Seether

Lady Gaga. Just look at some of her song's names, they're perfect :troll:
Nah, just kidding. I personally think Noisia and Combichrist should stay, CC wonderfully portraied Dante's inner anger and agression, whereas Noisia did a wonderful job to show his softer side and their boss themes beautifully contrast Combichrist's more metalcore-ish battle themes.
If I had to pick a new artist, I'd probably go with Celldweller, I think his style that mixes elements form more metal-ish genres with electronica and even orchestra elements would suit a Devil May Cry game perfectly.

Linkin Park? I dunno. I know their lyrical themes are about mostly relationships (they were political and philosophical with Minutes to Midnight, which I never consider a bad album at all, and A Thousand Suns, which has the theme of Enlightenment according to Buddhism, respectively).

Evanescence can hit the bill.

Yes; I have to agree with some of you wanting Combichrist and Noisia to stay.

Didn't anyone added bands like these?
1. Slipknot
2. Disturbed
3. Nightwish (who is the main influence of Evanescence according to vocalist Amy Lee)
4. Epica
5. Kamelot (Remember that Dante/Vergil DMC3SE by Xel'Naga Kail with the Kamelot song "When the Lights Go Down" in YouTube?)

You mentioned paramore twice. Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, or Skillet

I'm tired of generic and commercial rock music.
I know I like the bands, but their sound is getting quite repetitive and boring.

So I'd go with:
1.Kamelot.
2.Rhapsody of Fire ( I think these two bands fit DMC more rather than DmC,DmC is more like electro and dupstep)
3.Disturbed
4.Within Temptation (again for DMC)
5.Rammstein (one of my favourites, not to forget their songs were on Resident Evil too)
6. AC/DC (road way to hell? anyone?)
7.Linkin Park (for DmC)
8.Puscifer (Maynard mostly, would fit both DMC and DmC)
9.Sons of Anarchy
10.The Prodigy
11.The Chemical Brothers

Even though rock, heavy metal and dark-electronica or orchestral fit DMC much more,I'd chose dupstep and techno and maybe industrial for DmC,but sadly,I don't quite listen to these genres.(except industrial, and Combichrist is quite awesome)

Those are good acts. Some are underrated rock (i.e. Linkin Park; I am a fan of LP since the days of Hybrid Theory. Can't wait to buy a ticket for their concert here in the Philippines which will happen next month.), Some are Big Beat (The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers). Some are metal (Disturbed, Within Temptation, Kamelot, Rhapsody of Fire). There are lots of unheard genres out there. Thank God we have Internet!

Aggrotech AKA Dark-Electronica is also good for DmC. If not for Combichrist promoting their past works through DmC, I wouldn't be listening to their past aggrotech works, like "Never Surrender" and "Sent to Destroy". Speaking of Rammstein, Combichrist was one of the band's concert's opening act.

I listen to much more bands, but I don't remind them right now. xD
Yeah I agree, even though the lyrics in DMC were much more amazing,in my opinion. For e.g. in Devils Never cry you have that beautiful choir, then the rock part and then those soft vocals. In Never Surrender in the middle of the song things go much more slower and melodic. To fit with the game after all..

But in DmC,Combichrist was definetly my favourite.

I know! I will go to a Rammstein concert this summer.I love this band,I even learn german because of them xD.And If I see Combichrist in the opening, much better!

That's some good news you got there. You know what else is good news? Me getting 800 likes (you contributed a lot to that part, so thanks a million). Whoo!

And over 1100 posts! Yeah.
Best we discuss this via PM. Let's not go off-topic, shall we?

I also really like the Shadowman (PC, N64, Dreamcast) soundtrack. But this would only work if Dante went to a tribal steampunk version of hell the way Shadowman did.

Shenmue or Muramasa: Curse of the Demon Blade, perhaps? Capcom could use this if Dante goes to Japan to learn from Vergil's (demonic? angelic?) Koryu Bujutsu/Kenjutsu/Iaido master in preparation for the final battle with New Nelo Angelo.

And maybe put "The Best Around" when he's training. Some sort of training song would be nice.

Fight To Survive, Lunatic Fringe, Winner Takes It All, Eye of the Tiger, etc.

combichrist stays by default
-nirvana
-sex pistols
-hell within
-clark kent (good at dubstep)
thats all i can think of right now
