You always have *something* to pick on, no matter how small, don't you? Just don't, because I don't care to hear it. DmC was in fact a PR nightmare, I simply responded to someone who said it was (z218):

''But the question remains would Capcom be able to do a DMC5 that actually resolves things and has a sense of finality to or would they be able to avoid the PR nightmare DmC fell in.''

I can't seriously ignore what Tameem said and think it was all due to the fans. And that's the end of it. You can answer, but I'm not going to reply.

Here's my opinion, DMC1 is a crap game with some of the worst acting ever in video gaming that features a protagonist that's all kinds of cheese and sheer stupidity. Anyone who likes that game is clearly a kid trying to act cool.

If you're offended by it, so? How does it lessen your DMC1 experience? Why are you purposefully going out of your way to be offended A YEAR LATER. Let it go dude.
I hate Orson Scott Card but Enders Game is a great book. You seperate the author from their work....or grow thicker skin.

This thread is about the fact that Capcom should've waited a while before developing DmC. I responded quite normally, by saying that that was true, agreeing with somebody who said DmC was a PR nightmare. I don't have to stand for all the hate that's flung at me in response to that reasonable comment. I hope you realize by now that I'm not here to hate on DmC, I'm just here to post my opinion like everybody else. If somebody can't handle it and feels the need to respond with a passive-aggressive comment, that's their problem. I don't want to get a notification every single time somebody happens to disagree with my comment. Just don't quote me.
I don't post comments to wait for somebody who doesn't believe what I say/doesn't want to hear it to respond. I can't have normal conversations with people who just want to counter everything with their 'superior opinion' - it's affecting the forum.

Aside from that, it's psychotic behavior: first he says ''we don't always agree, but man do I respect his views'', then he attacks my views in this thread, instead of respecting them like he said he does. Seriously, wut?

Dude...you're not allowed to have and give your opinion on a public forum without people challenging it. You don't live in a vacuum. If you don't want to have to hear responses, then it's your responsibility to stop giving your opinion.

Also keep in mind that I'm not personally attacking you, nor do I think you're here just to "hate on DmC." I'm challenging one piece of misinformation that people keep trying to throw out as fact when there is no proof to support it.

DmC was a PR nightmare because they smack talked about the fanbase and were generally a bit apathetic to everything. They probably thought it was cool or something.

That bold part is total bullsh!t, and there's been numerous discussions about how it is bullsh!t. It's as untrue as the Vergilsaurus rumor and "baby tears" ending - bullsh!t cooked up by detractors who wish the game would fail. I'm not counting you with them, but you're still spreading misinformation that is extremely volatile, passing it off as fact, and with no proof to its validity

There's a difference between me respecting your completely valid views, and me being intolerant of you/anyone spreading something that is completely untrue. This specific instance isn't about you as a person, it's about what was said.

I hate to sound like some forum police or some sh!t, but honestly, quit posting about how Ninja Theory insults fans without any proof, or don't be upset when someone, anyone, calls you out on it.
