MAJOR SPOILERS! ENDING SHOWN HERE

DMC3 story maybe wasn't much but if you read between the lines, Dante and Vergil still cares about each others as a family deep down and that fact is also reinforced since they were close as kids.

In DmC the whole "brother betrayal" loses its impact since Dante and Vergil only gets to know each other for a very short time period. That's why it was easy for
Dante to almost kill Vergil

Damn it I have to call the game store on Broadway to see if they will have the game early or if they have it and make sure they have my number right so they can call me...last time I gave them the wrong one xD

Look, guys. Let me be clear on my reaction:

I love the ending. I just didn't like the fact that Vergil wanted to take over, after all. That was the only aspect that I didn't like.

I love this ending.

LONG LIVE DmC!

DMC3 story wasn't anything special but it didn't try too hard, it wasn't pretentious. Here we're promised with a deep story about governments, corporations and the media, and we get an ending worse than DMC3.

Seriously, wth? It didn't have to be absolutely brilliant, but I don't think anyone expected it to be worse than any of the old series' endings.

And here comes the old fans to **** on the new fans.

And then its gonna go back to the beginning. Good thing I made this.

This is actually the part I like, his reasons are great. And the way the conflict starts because both of them believe so much in their view that they have to defend it even if it means fighting their loved ones is the best possible way to start the fight, but the ending was just... nothing.

I'll accept your compromise. Just don't flame the fans. ^_^

Glad to see I'm not the only one liking this then. ^^
From what I could read, it really didn't look like anyone else liked it.

Basically ending feels rushed. Maybe Capcom pressed too hard for them to get that Vergil DLC content out and such. I think they spent a lot of time on the setup but ran out of time?

The ending itself wasn't lame.

But in comparison to other DMC endings I just don't think it even compares.

Even DMC4's ending which was my least favorite out of the games was better than this one (although not by a lot)
