I'm... not sure if I get what you mean? I just consider the pre-order bonuses to be like a little "Thank you for putting so much trust in our game to actually pre-order it!", so, that's acutally a nice thing to do, isn't it? :blink:

No pre-orders are a way to seal you in to get the content you already own. The pre-order DLC is on the disc. Whether or not Vergil DLC is...well I'll wait for someone on NeoGAF to find that out by looking at the code (as with every Capcom game).I'm... not sure if I get what you mean? Then we come into the problem for people like me who don't have Gamestop/Best Buy(England)/. How do we get that locked content?Simple, pre-order on PS3. The problem is that the PS3 pre-order version is £5 to £10 more (Games are £40 so that's a hefty added price and is a massive rip-off for content in the game). Next is the problem that this is PS3 only and doesn't cover Xbox owners. I would rather get this on Xbox than PS3.
Next is the pre-order artbook which isn't available for North America or Europe so you can't get it any other way.
NEXT is the problem that the Dante necklace is only for us on Europe and no-where else.
Capcom have this idea that if you DON'T pirate their game and you PLAN on supporting companies that, that isn't enough. You have to pre-order content you should be able to unlock once beating/fulfilling an in-game challenge.
SSFIV, SFxT(The Big one), SF3: 3SOE, MvC3, UMvC3, RE6, Dragons Dogma, Asuras Wrath all have this problem. That's not a "thank you for buying our game" but a "your fault for not buying the game three times from two different retailers and an e-tailer".

It's interesting to note that one of their answers indicated that the pre-order numbers appear to be solid. So that's good news, I guess.

But yeah, you're right, it DOES suck that you'd have to pre-order it three times to get all that stuff, but it's not like it was that supa-dupa-awesome, so not having it isn't that great of a deal to me, I guess (I'd love to have all that stuff, though). Different people, different opinions, right?

I don't know why people treat pre-order bonuses as stuff the company is holding out on them for. I've always thought of it as extras. They aren't required to give any of it.
Quite frankly, if they didn't have any pre-order bonuses I'd be upset. Every game from every company has them now. Kinda just got to accept that they exsist. And even if you don't like them... some weapon skins, orb harvesters, artbooks? Really not worth being upset over. They aren't going away anytime soon.

I'm with Gaflima, they did a great job answering questions. Not their fault that some of the questions were really dumb (what was the game's budget/dev cost?) and things that logically they didn't want to answer because it'd spoil things.
While I'm a little sad to hear that the Character Perks available in the Reserve Bonuses are exclusive to them, I'm not entirely worried, because they aren't integral pieces of the game that were left out. This certainly isn't some MvC3/SFxTK DLC level bullshit, and shouldn't be treated with that kind of anger.
Those other exclusives though, that's just bad marketing - but that's strictly the marketing side, it isn't NT or the Capcom dev's fault. The publishing side is usually one of the least intelligent in the industry

Makes sense to give some sort of bonus to Style retention since Taunting is gone, and to prevent people from just running in blindly because "OMG my Style is going down" and end up losing it all on a half-baked attempt to stop it
"Robert" was a lot less of a douchenozzle this time around, too. But he still was speaking for everyone, which was annoying. "So many people don't like the lack of a Hard Lock," he says, but he disregards the quiet majority, all the other people who have played the demo and haven't felt the need to proclaim "I'm okay with this."

The only thing I saw that seemed worth noting is: Gregaman mentioned they were looking at demo feedback and are talking about possible balance changes for the full game (and that some things that are an issue in the demo aren't an issue in the full game).
But didn't confirm what they were looking at and didn't confirm whether there will be balance changes based on the demo or not. Just that they are talking about it.

Aww I am sad missed this, but thanks for the summary of what happened. Oh and where are people getting that the DLC is on disk when it is said it is not on disk and that it is coming out some time after the game and is right now still being worked on..I don't even know where they are getting this from..

Most of the questions were really basic and straight, so no real news there...
However, they were pretty much honest with their answers. Most of the issues were adressed fairly well. I like how they said the game is not perfect and they tried to the the best and hardest work to make a really cool game. See? That's what class means. Be honest with public, that's a really good display from both Alex and Greg ( not Gregaman, even though he was also there, lol, and he is awesome).
However, two of their answers called my attention:
One was focusing on the Killing Face boss, confirmed as a boss battle in the night club mission. They said the boss attacks Dante by use his left "hand" or something like that, and he can move fast and attack Dante close or far far away..That's cool.
The other answer was about Dante's tatto. Alex said that sometines a tatoo is just a tatoo, and sometimes a tatoo may trigger a important sword or something like that. I guess he was talking about Sparda, lol...Maybe Dante uses it against the final fight against Mundus, just like it happened in DMC 1...
