legendary dark cockroach??

i just unlocked super sparda, and this being the fist time i got a good look at him, he looks alot like a cockroach lol. his wings, head and even his feet are insect-like,
why is this?

That's what the developers thought Sparda should look like. Sure, if you just stare at him all day he's wierd, but imagine flying through the air, with fast-paced fights, and lots of stunts. Then it would actually look cool.

Yeah the way Arkham portrayed him in mission 19, before he went into slime

His bio said that this form is not caused by power of Sparda, just a darkness Arkham had in his heart.
But anyway, I must admit he was cool the first time I played the game

Well, in the cutscene after m 17, he looked quite cool too (when he DT'ed to Sparda)

When Arkham portrays Sparda before he turns into slime, and the DT'd Sparda you can play asare the same thing. There's literally no difference, except the flames.

Sparda does look somewhat foolish and cockroach-y for a super-powerful uber demon.

I really think Sparda has a unique design, I really dig the beetle shell and wings. But an interesting "did you know," is that his design was originally meant for Mundus, and Mundus' design was originally meant for Sparda.
