Least favorite weapon or move?

Khundy

Berserker
I didn't care for the Aquila nor the Kablooey

Aquila- because of that Taz tornado looked super lame, imagine someone doing that in real life.

Kablooey- just hate the name and the sounds it made

personal opinion of course

I do like and wish that we had gotten Osiris in the other games though-without the element thing

I don't think any of the weapons do have an element to them, i know that the Frost Knights and Hell Knights represent fire and ice, but that seems to be the only 'elemental' thing in the game, i could be wrong though.

Enrix and the tornado move. They just looks so dumb... If he was turning, or he was sliding in a circle it'd be ok but that twirl/spin is just silly, and the Enrix are, too, but more than that it's less versatile than the other gauntlets, it's missing the kicks and those are just too sorely missed, especially the dive kick.

Vergil has the dive kick.

Just watching the new DmC DE streams and while watching I just remembered some pet peevs I had with the game other than the story, and just wanted to see if I was alone in the matter. Still fun a game, wish it had more. reboot or not it is still called devil may cry so it'll never get away from comparisons of the other games.

Yeah Kablooey. I actually kinda liked the concept of that gun, but I didn't like the controls for it.

not here, not like the concept at all, it's an umm what do you call it, indirect attack.. it's like using magic on jrpg games, i dont use them cept for the healing ones, or unless it's the only way to go, which in DmC case, you could actually do without it.. i'd rather go wham bam, yeah, very unstylish of me lol.. but it's useful for cool purposes as seen in combo videos..

@Khundy not much to complain about gameplay, really. Maybe having to hold down the triggers to use demonic and angelic weapons and having to switch them with the directionals. I think it would have been better to use the triggers to switch them, like the old games. That way, you would press the triggers only once to change your weapon, and you would free the directionals to add some other gameplay elements. I was talking about this the other day with @ef9 o shea.

But I guess they chose the holding input cause of the platforming sessions, so that you can enter Demon and Angel mode more seemlessly, I don't know.

Oh and of course, the lack of lock on, but that's gonna be addressed.

Controls? You had to press one button.

You need to press two to detonate actually. Felt kinda awkward, at least with default control settings. I should have changed them, I guess, but I wasn't using that gun that much, so I just left it how it was.

I know quite a few people who customized the controls to have the double button input go to one, but I kept it as is because to stick a bunch of Kablooeys in a short time frame is to make use of the jump cancel. I only have to slide my thumb back and forth.

After initially not caring for it as much as my other weapons. I found the Kablooey to be one of the more stylishly rewarding yet complex firearms in the game. It doesn't deal direct damage like everything else, but it shines best when it's many different results are used to set up combos. Something I don't see many players doing.

Me, I'm a rather unorthodox player. I don't really care for how fast people can jump cancel. I like to visually look cool while playing. The Kablooey can make explosive finishers (pun intended) and become the key to creating combos that make demons deal with their own collateral damage, as well as bouncing them around, or turning them in to walking landmines etc. A lot of thought can go in to the Kablooey delivering on a stylish front no other weapon can.
