Judgement Day Tomorrow. Will there be a change of heart?

of coarse some people will like it they've already got it in their heads that this will be the best devil may cry game ever which i highly doubt but anyway :I

And this is why God invented demos, so that you could feel the difference in your hand and at the same time you could get a taste of what the game has to offer and if you are interested in it.

But I know most people from what I've seen from other forums and youtube would either not try it or just make a very negative review of the demo saying how it's too slow and how Dante is a emo-fag. I know it's their opinion but damn...it's like your parents or God talking to you. I really am scared for this game...I really am...!

Let them do and say whatever they want; they're free to hate the game just like others are free to like it. If the game is good then just worry about enjoying it yourself. Let Capcom and Ninja Theory worry about changing people's minds (or not as the case may be).

I don't want to sound pretentious and over-hype everything, but its a really good game on its own merit. Is it as good as the other DMC's? You'll see...

I don't need it to be anything more than an awesome game, which I'm sure it is :3 Having some lore from a favorite franchise of mine - icing on the cake.

The haters are literally disarmed of everything that is a legitimate complaint. There was an article on IGN about how it has nothing left to prove and literally every negative comment is, "Whaaa he looks like Justin Bieber" or "Twilight Dante sucks!!!".

The only argument of substance left is "30 fps", which means little to me in a game of this type. Is this an Open World game? No? Good then I don't have to worry about areas loading as I walk/run into them. 60 fps isn't necessary for a game where you clear out closed in areas. The combat looks fluid and quick too.

The only legitimate complaints have always been framerate, gameplay speed, and difficulty - three things that really require playtime to discern. So far I haven't heard anyone who has played the demo at conventions ever mention framerate drops, which means the locked fps is doing its job. That's one thing I've never heard.

Even if the game isn't as fast as other DMCs or whatever, it's still fast in its own right, and still looks a helluva lot faster than DMC2 (and I loved that game :p). Difficulty is also...pretty subjective, and based solely on the person playing it :p

I don't care about 30fps as long as its justified. God of War runs at 30 but it has the some of the best set-pieces and action sequences in gaming today.

The environment looks gorgeous though in this, which is a good thing. DMC games always had awesome level designs, but playing DMC4 made me realise how ugly the shadows and the textures can get to find the glorious 60fps.

Sigh. As annoyed as I am by haters acting like this game is the Antichrist, I'm also getting irritated with supporters acting like this game craps gold, all before so much as a demo has dropped. Trust me, there'll be plenty of complaints about how it actually plays. I sat through DMC3 and DMC4's debuts, and people ALWAYS find something wanting (and at least half the time legitimately, since nothing's perfect).

I am under no impression that it will "crap gold" lol. DmC is shaping up to be a lot of fun and looks to be very polished. Of course their will be complaints. No piece of work is without its critics.
