The same thing happened with the Avengers. Jon Favreau wanted more money, so then they kicked him off and added a cheaper director -- we ended up with an Avengers that just 'writes out' like an overly long episode of Buffy/Firefly.

That actually sounds like a better idea than this.

While Jesse is not a bad actor I just can't see him as Lex Luthor and my faith in this movie is now dropping like below zero.

I dislike the Spider-Man Reboot, Batfleck, and Gadot as WW (while you don't mind those things)...

Meanwhile, I actually kind of like the idea of JE being LL.

Also, there's the fact that I still like Taskmaster more than Deadpool, but that's another matter altogether.
