I almost took this seriously untill he said the moral pinicle of the game was Bob. Now I know this is bulls!:#t.

As another christian I certanly understand that the ideas of DMC have space for relegious discussion but this is hardly the most sacrilegues game around. Thereis worse out there, much worse. Anyone ever read his dark materials? Of course not, because all those who bitch and moan don't know it ecxists untill they make a movie version.

it's fictional anyway so his comments are'nt really justified people know it's fake so why should anyone have to bitch about the game

For me, I don't see DmC as anti god or anti religion or endorsing demons. It's just a game to me; and it surprises me (troll excluded) that people can make these claims. I don't see what they see. But I guess that's the point: that no persons view is universal and people will read things into the game that another person would not think of.

But if I was to read it from a religious persepective, well, isn't DmC in some ways a good game?:/ The whole mission is to free humans from the control of the demon king. What's so bad about that?
I guess it could upset people that the game does not include god, even though it shows angels, but it's not like the game is outright saying god does not exist. It just chooses not to confront that. If they did, I think it would cause all sorts of new problems if they based it on any god from the real world.

Actually, I'm surprised DMC4 didn't upset christians. It seemed like The Order of the sword was like an evil version of Catholics who worshipped a demon and wanted to send demons into the world just to save it and then get more followers to the religion.

What about animal cruelty? There were demons that looked like giant cats. I'm sure there are plenty of other topics someone can connect to it.

Anyway, I really don't get all the attacks on DmC. It's not real, and if people are seeing it as real they have some major problems. I'm sure I've said that before. In this case, if a game can sway people from their religions they didn't really believe in it in the first place.

I think Bill has still got his hands full with Anonymous:lol: He was going on about trying to sue them. Even Fox's own lawyer kept telling him that he could not sue....this was live on air.

He'd have a rant and then try to ban it because it supports the terrorists:P Or maybe he will reveal his true demon form out of sheer rage from seeing himself in a game:lol:

Despite this ludicrous, forced plot twist I surmise that Mr. Barbas was, in fact, an Angel: my theory is well supported by the fact that upon being forced to murder him they are rewarded with an Angelic weapon.

The technology that should be broadening the minds of our kids – who are already far more au fait with the future than the rest of us – is instead turning them into little panders, tiny bullies with no respect for His word and portraying good Christian men who dare to take a stand as obstacles to be silenced through physical violence.

I'm certain that this garbage only got worse in the later levels, but I personally turned off the game in disgust and would not play further after being forced to murder Mr. Barbas.

There is no God in the devil may cry series, the angels are 80% there so the stances would make sense(will most likely be explaind later in the series) besides the fact that you are christian, you are playing a videogame(fictional), religion has nothing to do with this game it is just tons of cool things with a story. I myself doubt religion but respect it and this has nothing that could offend you....get off these forums.
