IGN: "DmC is Looking Totally Sweet"

well that is your opinion, but i have to respectfully disagree. in my opinion there will actually be more people that like the game than people that dislike the game.

Like meg said, there are a large amount of people who is "meh" at the game.In many forums that i'm joined in, there is always a DmC section there that reaches for over 30+ pages or 50.The minority there would like to play the game, but the other ones don't even care or not interested.Whenever i shares some news, they will always gonna say: "New news for DmC? Whatever" Something like that.

But then again, look at the bright side. The new ones that will be in the game will probably be larger than the old fanbase when it's released.Same how lords of shadow garnered a huge fanbase by introducing it to mainstream :)

Yeah... IGN needs to stop with the praises and start with the commentary. Yes, the DmC trailer was good, good enough to get an award, but they need to think with a more objective mind.

And why the Willy Wonka referrence?

And so all the haters understood why this game is liked so much.

****in finally!

No. They don't. IGN has a habit of being kiss ups, so I really don't think they did a serious good job at this. I love DmC, but I don't like it being praised dramatically.

At least there is no co-op... i don't know why magazines write stuff that they outta know is a load of BS. (having thought about that, that's probably what they're paid to do.)

I hated the idea of the game in the beginning. But it is shaping up and looking good... playing it will be a different story. I'm still on the fence with it, but NT are trying.

Heres how it went with the IGN DmC articles
First article: They insult the fans that didn't want to buy the game.
Second: They flat out call Neo-Dante Emo.
3rd article: Willy Wonka references?????

How does that work?

Actually, a very big part of the community is against DmC, I'm personally still waiting for more gameplay/story footage before making up an absolute opinion.
That's true. I've noticed that most of the members that chat on the DmC section (including myself) have only joined the forums about a year or two ago. Most of the original community is gone.

why all this hate? IGN felt the game did well, and is a good move forward for the Dmc franchise. so why are you all just calling IGN ignorant, uninsightful and a bunch of kiss asses? theyre just saying their opinion. not that much different than what were doing here (except theyre payed for it :P ). sure the willy wonka reference is a lil obscure, but i still dont see why people are complaining about this. besides you realise what will happen by the DmC sequel.

Because, IGN are ignorant, they compliment Call Of Duty for being more of the exact same thing every year. And then look down on Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, because it felt too similar to Dead Rising 2.

And in all honesty, usually their articles are NOT their opinions, and if they are, are biased.

Well, IGN writing a good article about DmC doesn't automatically mean the game is bad... if you know where I am coming from. So yes, those articles IGN puts up are mostly bias crap that they do to hype up games but I have played good games that were positively viewed by IGN... and they were still good... it's not like IGN praises the bad games and doesn't care about the good ones... that's dumb.

We are not hating on DmC, we just know IGN's game. and are hating on IGN for it.

Speaking of which, who wants to see something funny

This is why you should stop hyping games up like that. IGN!

Hasn't IGN been around since 96? Aren't they being credited for every review? Doesn't alot of what they say get to you somehow? Do you not respond to their reviews because they are apart of the mass media websites? Meaning they're popular enough to get people's attention? Not because they are ignorant, but because they are known for giving off reviews? Do they not have second opinion reviews? UK reviews? So, wouldn't trying to call them ignorant make you look like an idiot?

The difference between DmC and DMC 3 is that DMC 3 is a finished game that belongs to a franchise.

With that comes the side dish, DmC's upgrade system in which you can purchase more combos. Again, unfinished game vs finished game.
