IGN likes the new DmC, it is also confirmed if co-op will be in it or not:

dont wanna sound ungrateful but im glad theres no co-op. it just doesnt really work in a hack and slash like DmC. and im happy DmC is getting the praise it deserves after years of hate.
"Wow a Dmc article with very little hate in the comments, I'm stunned!"
My thoughts exactly.
so far the only people who dislike DmC are the fanboys who devote themselves to not like it, people who don't really know about it or ignore it, and the much more respectable fans who just don't have an interest in the game (such as meg and spawnshooter). but i would say the majority like DmC. the press have nothing but good things to say about the game, people that read what the press says will probably be interested, hardcore devil may cry fans like myself who like the game, new devil may cry fans, and probably people who enjoy fun action games in general. so i say the majority is actually in DmC's favor.
and that's good to see. i've seen all over forums where people will say, "i never played a devil may cry game before but this new one peeks my interest and i am definitely going to try it out!"I classify as this.

well that is your opinion, but i have to respectfully disagree. in my opinion there will actually be more people that like the game than people that dislike the game.Actually, a very big part of the community is against DmC, I'm personally still waiting for more gameplay/story footage before making up an absolute opinion.
haha i thought the candy analogy was really funny. That was a terrible analogy. They tried way too hard. Although I really want this DMC chocolate. :w00t:
I think there are more people who like the game than dislike as well. There are still plenty of unimpressed people, but I think there are more in DmC's favor. However, there is still a large amount of people who are "meh" about the whole thing.well that is your opinion, but i have to respectfully disagree. in my opinion there will actually be more people that like the game than people that dislike the game.

i am also very intrigued to see how the game does sales-wise. but you know if i'm wrong and the game doesn't sell well at all i will still be happy as long as it is a fun game.I think there are more people who like the game than dislike as well. I'm certainly interested to see how the game does sales wise.
And choco, your latest sig is incredible.![]()

It'll probably be close, I guess, but ultimately a huge part of the community either dislikes it or doesn't care about it anymore.
Only time will tell though.
I think I might make a couple of DMC themed candy wrappers for fun. ^_^For the first 6 paragraphs I didn't understood what the hell they were talking about. I was all like "Are we still on DMC?"
That's the thing. Even if a game has a small but dedicated following, there is chance for a sequel. And if not, NT said they are learning a lot about gameplay. So even if the game doesn't do as well as people hope, NT can still take what they learned to create something entirely new with great gameplay. That's the problem I had with them with Enslaved. It wasn't a bad game, but the gameplay was too mediocre.i am also very intrigued to see how the game does sales-wise. but you know if i'm wrong and the game doesn't sell well at all i will still be happy as long as it is a fun game.![]()
very true. and yeah i heard enslaved had mediocre gameplay, but had wonderful everything else. i played the demo and wasn't too impressed myself, so let's hope capcom has taught ninja theory well not only for DmC's sake, but so their future games will benefit from it as well.I think I might make a couple of DMC themed candy wrappers for fun. ^_^
