GEnerally you want to draw a mother of a character as beautiful as possible.
But when that mother is also an angel, you tend to go overboard. Here are signs of that:

- Blue rose
- The emphasize on light around her face

But main reason for DmC Eva painting looking better than DMC Eva is because of artistic skills.


Speaking of Eva, DMC Eva in that painting really look like something unusual: like a priestess . But Bayo hints she may been a witch so such clothes cud be witch clotehs

Kamiya just said Eva ( whatever that Eva is) was a witch, because it was a game about witches.If was a game about clowns, he would say she was a clown.I've always wondered if he really loves his works and just can't let it go or he is just selling his products,or "riding" in his past sucess.

I've my suspicions before, but maybe( just MAYBE) Capcom ordered the reboot due to Kamiya's constant " intrusions" on the DMC plot.First Capcom gives DMC to another team( which Capcom could due, since since Kamiya should know he was making his character for his boss, not for him).Kamiya didn't like and made a " take that!" saying DMC 2 was a impostor, Enzo or whatever.Later he uses Bayonetta to influence DMC plot again saying this and that, going against what is stabilished in actual canon again.He will do it again in Bayo2, causing even more damage to a confusing canon.
While I respect Kamiya's work, he doesn't even respect his team's works, always saying he wrote everything alone, he made everything alone, never paying his due respect to his teammates.Do you know how he " created" Trish? He just said: make a woman in black leather and long hair and that's all.
While Tameen could be a little of an *******, he said Nt DmC was his team's fruit and it's belong s to Capcom, not all by himself.

I take art history classes, and yes, when it came to religious figures, people would portray them as heavenly through the use of light, building were made this way too, especially hagia sophia, which makes the light distort the images of the outside world and make it seem like heaven

Its funny because you were the total opposite in the thread Dante walks into a bar....You were trying to prove a point regardless how meaningless it is of the game being fictional and also its characters but regardless you went back and forth....

Even if we're talking about a video game there was a point to that discussion.

Not something stupid with no point whatsoever like you basically saying ,"The original Eva is more attractive because she is a human. Her lineage makes her the better looking woman whether you think so or not."
