Hmmm, are there any boss fights that look this cool?

You do know that without it being on the Wii U, it wouldn't be on anything, right? Bayonetta sold rather poorly, so no other company wanted to bother funding a sequel. Then, in comes Nintendo to take a chance and save the day.
I don't think that there is any solid proof that no other company wanted to support bayo2. It could be that Nintendo got to them first.

It was a joke. But since you brought it up i wrote that post because it reminded of this dude on youtube who played DMD by literrally standing around waiting for an attack he could Demon Dodge and would attack when the bonus was active and when it went away he would ressume his standing still and repeat the process. Anyways i dont try to impose my opinions on others or tell someone how they should play but such... "tactics" generally upset me. But to each his own i guess.

In my opinion they should have designed a game so that this option wasn't really available; nerf the damage buff, make it a single frame dodge to get the buff etc.

I had a much harder time with Vergil on Nephilim than with Blade Wolf on Normal. Blade Wolf is PRET-TY predicable during the second walkthrough and you can keep attacking him so he doesn't attack back. The other bosses looks much better though.

Bosses the first time through on this game (like dmc4 and probably the others) are hard because you have no idea what they do or how to kill them.

How difficult are they on the harder difficulties after you know how to do them?

Kamiya actually twittered that the only reason Bayo2 is even happening is because Nintendo bought the exclusive, no one else WANTED it.

Almost every game has better bosses that that one.
I dont get it, what is so cool about it?
You guys are huge fan of robotic things.

i really think demon dodge should have been a variation of Royal Guard but whatevs. And yea dont get me wrong its the developers job to balance the game and make every move a viable option BUT things are never so black and white, its always bugs me how gamers are ALWAYS looking for something to exploit and take the easy way out (heck play any multiplayer game and youl see what i mean). ive removed all the upgrades that increase damage (and demon dodge as well) in this game all for the sake of the thrill of getting a challenge (it worked wonders btw youd be surprised just how much longer it takes to bring down some enemies).

I play and have played many many multiplayer games, often to quite a high level, and any decent games have developers constantly patching it, anyone is going to do anything they have to to win.

Maybe you don't like the designated hitter rule in baseball, but if you are in the final of the world series you sure as hell are gonna use one.

Knowing P*, I don't think that was a REAL boss. I expect to find him popping up with regular enemies later in the game.

And nope, I didn't really find much cool about the dog mech. I mean it's a good idea, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't really feel like an actual boss, so much as a mini boss.

That and the pre-fight dialogue was rather crappy and felt unnecessary. MGS dialogue tends to be better than that, to be more to the point.

yea but youre talking about something thats in the rule book and for all intents and purpuses does not ruin the spirit of the game and is perfectly normal. if you wana use sports as a comparison how about this: youre playing agaisnt joe montana(tom brady, peyton manning, aaron rodgers, whatever) in the super bowl and as hes getting tackled his knee is i a vulnurable position and you realise you could stick your helmet into his knee, blow it out, and probably ruin his career. this would obviously skyrocket your chances of winning the game butwould be dirty as hell. i guess il use a different example thats not so serious: in MW2 you could get a buddy and tell him to get a tac insert then kill him 25 times while he just stands there, call in a nuke and win the game, a win is a win right? theres legitimate ways to guarentee yourself a win and theres... less legit ways but the way you make it sound is as though a win is a win regardless of how you get it, when it clearly isnt so simple

There is a complete difference, the 2 examples that you gave are actually against the rules. Hacking someone in a sport, or boosting your stats with a friend are both against the rules, not just cheap or against the spirit.

Well, the MGR robot dog boss fight looks cool, but personally, I loved the crap out of the Bob Barbas boss fight. I don't know why, but it was so entertaining, and I it is my favorite mission (closely followed by the nightclub missions and the Vergil boss fight).

I agree, Bardas fight was awesome, only probably is that it was stupidly easy. I would say that on DMD, I have more chance of being damaged in a room with 1 with and 1 ninja guy, than I do the entire Bardas fight.

yea i know, thats my point. and are you sure the knee thing is against the rules? i cant remember if bernard polard got flagged when he hit bradys knee a couple years back.

I live in the UK, I know not the rules of American Football nor Baseball, however I assumed that purposely injuring someone like that was against the rules, otherwise I'm sure a lot more people I'm sure would just have their careers ruined by other players purposely smashing their helmets into their knees.

Oh yeah i'm fully aware of that, I just wonder how well could it actually sell on the Wii U alone if it could not get enough sales to even justify a sequel on Xbox360 and PS3 before. I am sure it will get some people, but me speaking as a big fan will just have to miss out on this game because Wii U does not have enough games to justify the price point for me even though Bayonetta is like one of my top favorite games.

I wouldn't disagree, it was pretty easy, but the thread was asking for boss fights that were cool though.
