Hands on impressions of DmC

I would love to test out Arbiter on the chick.

No joke but that was also my first thought immediately after that bitch opened her mouth!!
Man instead of this hands on, they should honestly just releasee demo for us! This is going nowhere, seriously!

Of course they'll release a demo. With the press this game's been getting--negative and positive--why wouldn't they?
It will just be out a month or so BEFORE the game's out. It's not coming out till the end of this year, so we may see it during/after Gamescom or sometime in November.

Well that would prove what i said to be true. That they are hypocrits.

She's likely a lovely and smart lady, but the way she's going on in that video makes her seem like if You were to dangle a bit of string in front of her face, she'd go crazy . I mean, yeah sure, uncontrollable excitement at playing one of 2012's biggest titles, but it just seems so fake for some reason. Especially the "HICHAAWW" noise she makes.

Another thing that annoys Me about this video is how useless it is. They give us absolutely no new information about Dante or what He can do or what He is doing in the story, etc, I don't believe the footage they showed was of them playing and really all it ends up being is an obnoxious "We played this game You've been waiting on since 2010, would You like some salt to go with the wounds? ON YOUR FACE FROM WHERE WE RUBBED IT IN SO HARD?!".

I could have made a fake 'Hands-On' video, talking about the exact same stuff simply from watching the current videos of Combat/trailers.

How is that hypocritical?
Well we've been told to try the game ourself. And if they don't release a demo prior to or roughly around same time as game release, then they are basically going back on what they said. Because if they would want us to try it for ourself they would release a demo sooner.

That is if they don't release a demo. The prospects is looking good for that.

@ video:
I wish we could have seen what the two of them talked about. It sounded fun.
Especially going up in air.

You have already said what you find hypocritical, but not WHY that is hypocritical.
If you wish to try the demo befor eyou buy the game, then it doesn't matter if they release before or after the game's release. They won't steal away your chance at trying the demo before you buy the game, they just postpone it by not releasing the demo before the game. But that is a big IF and I don't see any reason to why they shouldn't release the demo first.

It would be hypocritical if they said there would be a demo for you to try out first and then they don't release a demo which forces you to get your hands on the game one way or the other if you wish to try it out.
But that raises another question. Did Ninja Theory or Capcom ever confirm that there WILL be a playable demo at all?

I think it would be a hypocritical action to release a demo late after game release considering Capcom has asked people to try it for themself. If they release it later after game then it seems like they don't care if you try it or not.

This is hypocrisy:

World English Dictionary
hypocrisy (hɪˈpɒkrəsɪ)

n , pl -sies
1. the practice of professing standards, beliefs, etc, contrary to one's real character or actual behaviour, esp the pretence of virtue and piety
2. an act or instance of this

Which none of your examples fit.

Well Capcom has said "Try it for yourself". Now if they don't release a demo early on, then they are basically not caring much about what they have said - whether you try it or not.
So in a way it's hypocritical. Because if they really want you to try it for yourself they would be active with providing a demo.

Or active in trying to make you buy the game, so you can try it yourself. They have never said "Try the demo", they said "Try it yourself". Which leads back to my question if they really ever said they would provide a demo.

I don't know. But when you try something it is to see if you like it. Paying 60 dollars to try out a game is alot.
Don't think they said they would release a demo though.

Then there is nothing to be hypocritical about.
So i should go buy a game that i am not unsure if i want to buy it or not, to see if i would like the game so that i could buy it? That isn't right.

You do not read the suggestions people have made for you. If a friend of yours buys it, you can ask if you can give it a try or borrow it from him/her. Or there is the possibility of renting the game for a much lesser fee. A demo is a luxury and a way for a game company to give the players a free chance to try the game out, however, it is not a requirement. Many games never had any demos.

I don't know anyone who's going to buy it. And i don't give a *** (* = my own censor) if it's a luxury (though i disagree) or not, i ain't going to buy the full game.

And i don't rent things, so not sure how much it would cost. And rather not do it now either.
If a demo isn't in place then i will pass on the game and watch the story.

I'm not pitching on making you buy the game, that's whatever your business if you do or not. I was just making clear if the situation would be hypocritical or not and also trying to give you alternatives on how to try out the game if there won't be a demo.

Actually you told me to buy the game to try it. And the alternatives aren't suiteable for me.
1) No friend who will buy it
2) Renting isn't my thing (nor do i intend to do it now)

So with that said, only alternative is wait til game reaches half price or something.
