Half Life 2 Episode 2 Release Date Revealed

Finally after months of delays the highly awaited second episode of Valves ever popular Half Life series has been given yet another release date (lets hope it makes this one). Its been a troublesome few months for the Valve team but glad to see they have now got everything in order and we can expect the next installment on October 9th on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

PC gamers will be able to download the games via Steam of course, while the Half-Life 2: The Orange Box will be made available at retail for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 thanks to EA. Orange box contains the original Half-Life 2 and Episode One in addition to the new trio.

A Black Box version for PC was originally intended for released too - Black Box contained Episode Two, TF2 and Portal - but this was canned last month.
