I forgot to add one more limitation: No Weapon Damage Upgrade.
So, while adding different moves is recommended (we need every move we can get, after all for the best combo potential), the damage upgrades (not combo upgrades)
themselves would empower you -- so leaving them out during a "Super Ultimate" playthrough is probably the best way to get the most out of the experience.
--------------------------------------------------
Gods Must Die "Super Ultimate" and/or "Regular-Ultimate" walkthrough requirements:
New Game
No Super Dante
No Damage Upgrades [However, combo upgrades are still allowed.]
No Health Upgrades
Hardcore Mode On
Turbo Mode On
Must Style Mode... Optional
[Anti-Must Style Mode would only allow for a "Regular-Ultimate" run if you leave it off. However, "Regular-Ultimate is still
phenomenally good, though.]
[However, if you want to be the "Top Class," turning Must Style Mode
on would most likely be the best way to prove it.]
---------------------------------------------------------------
[Hyper Ultimate Run]
Requirements:
Zero Damage Upgrades and/or Combo Upgrades (alongside the "Super Ultimate" requirements already listed).
What you start with is what you end with. No upgrading to your weapons
of any kind would be allowed in this run.
---------------------------------------------------------------
They did something similar in DMC3 so... I don't think it would be too much to ask to eventually ask for a "Hyper."
Also... they added
"No Style Usage" to the already
formidable list of requirements.
Woah.
["DMC3 No Upgrades, New Game, No Style, DMD SS Rank Run."]

Come on guys...
let's make this happen.
