Geting really sick of seeing MGR in the DMC: DEVIL MAY CRY AREA...

I for one would love to compare/discuss the combat of DmC and MGR:R but people take things way too personally. The two games are defiantly comparable in areas and are different enough for decent discussion.

I think the reason many DMC fans bought MGR instead and why the two are compared is Rising does something that was a staple of DMC that DmC just dropped completely, being a high octane, stylish, adrenaline rush of action.

The combat still has a lot of depth and I love the mechanics in DmC. Everything flows easier and makes DmC feel good. I don't have to worry about styles or a clumsy way to switch between them because switching up my tactics has changed to simply holding a button. It's just more comfortable too. Especially on a 360 controller. I have DmC for ps3 but I find playing it with a 360 controller is more comfortable because the ps3 has those stupid flimsy triggers.

Love your forum sig. I've only had time to play through Hanako's story so far but, I've now become quite a fan of Katawa Shoujo recently.

OK, Mr. Internet, no need to be a bitter b*stard about it. And what I meant by visually impressive wasn't just graphical (although, DmC does make DMC 4 look like a N64 game) I also meant watching the action unfold is exciting. I love how Dante moves, how He executes attacks, how enemies react to attacks, etc.

I just find the whole combat package and how it's presented more addicting.

You like how Donte moves? As in where he pauses between every attack?

And yeah, no. Enemies don't react to attacks. the enemy A.I attacks once in 30 seconds at least.

Your backseat moderating is highly appreciated, also it wasn't excessive but yeah sure, You've got Me, I got around the censor.

And yes, I do appreciate the minor pause as it allows You time to decide which combo You would like to continue or which combo You would like start doing depending on what's in front of you. And 30 seconds is a little bit of an exaggeration there. Hate the game, but at least be reasonable about it.

Oh...it died, nevermind...Also, the 30 seconds thing is over exaggeration, more like every 7.8 seconds.
Buhuhuhuuuuuttt~ people have their opinions, if they find it visually impressive (for whichever reasons he said) then let him.
And don't bypass the swearing filter, guy whoever you are (you know who you are)

I'm being reasonable. I'm talking out of experience. You're the one giving it too much credit, and yeah I agree there should be a pause if you want to switch a combo, not between every hit. it causes sluggishness and it becomes an eyesore and goes against the trait of fluency.

And sticking to the rules isn't backseat moderating. You're supposed to know these rules if you use this site.
