Is it not already a reverse Isekai? Given that the setting is confirmed to be modern Tokyo and the FF characters are being summoned from their native worlds to defend Tokyo.

the trailer wasnt clear so i just thought it was another excuse plot setup like the Shinra High school event like Ever Crisis.
