Well, actually, he PM'd me back and told me that Mundus was to be fought BEFORE Chaos Incarnate, not fought in CI's place. Whoops!
hey guys just a quick preview of my story... it will feature demons and angels... Dante and Nero with a split story & Dante's will reveal shock revelations not only about Sparda's fate but about his mother Eva that will change him forever and send him to the peak of the heavens for answers. With Dante gone, Nero must face a massive demon invasion on earth alone as well as learn more about his own origins. Oh and they will also fight early on about Dante's intentions for the Order of Archangels... Dante fans will like it... I will post a full plot soon and elaborate... hope you guys are intrigued!!! 
I'm just wondering if this plot involves my bosses and story ideas. I don't care how they're used, just so long as they ARE used. And SD, just to clarify, Nero is "technically" stronger than Dante if you go the "Nero is Sparda reincarnate" route. Just saying.
^Why would he be?Unless he taps into his full power witha proper DT I don't think he will be stronger than Dante.If that's granted I agree.[Sorry to but in.]

Back on topic, this is another enemy idea. Unfortunately, I'm kinda running out of them!
Sabre: A tiger cross-bred with both a sword and a gun. It's body comprises of a different element depending on it's current location. List of forms: Base, Water, Earth, Air, Fire, Lightning, Ice, Light, and Dark. The Base form is the weakest, and the Dark form is the strongest.
NOTE: The elements Light and Dark are weak to one another. If a demon is light, darkness harms it and vice versa.
Buster: Nero grabs the Sabre and throws it, creating a large ball of elemental energy.
Grab: Dante rips off one of the Sabre's spines and chucks it into it's head, causing large damage. Alternatively, locking onto another enemy will have Dante throw the spine at that one instead.
hey guys... i will post part of the story in a couple of days... btw if you look at previous DMC quotes i think Dante has more potential than Sparda - was it Griffon or Phantom saying he had not only matched but surpassed his father... the DMC4 book saying he had surpassed his father... and in my new story... shocking revalations will change Dante forever and elaborate on his origins... trust me its good... I am leaning towards the Nero is Sparda reincarnated but Dante will still be stronger... but for good reasons

Anyway...How about this :
Succubus : Good old Succubus creatures.Just absurdly beatifull female demons with devilish wings,pale skin and crimson-pink eyes and hair that use charms and "female" attacks to kill their enemy.Like a Nevan[or Bayonetta if you prefer]of sorts in terms of style.
Buster : Nero Grabs a succubus and cuts it in half by strenght alone.
Grab : Dante grabs one by the hand and does a mock dance that ends with him "kissing" the succubus goodbye...using Ebony and Ivory.
Heavy Metal : The ultimate fusion of metal and demon.It has varying shapes and the thing is it changes to fit the style of combat the player has.EX : You shoot from a distance,it changes to shield like monster with cannons.
Grab : Nero grabs one and uses the Red Queen to cut in half verticaly
Buster : Dante unleashes a stylish barrage of E&I and Rebellion attacks,starting with a stinger while saying "Lightning Ride",finishing with him holding Ivory on his left,Ebony with his mouth and swinging the Rebellion with his right to clean the blood.[Yes from the anime.]
Exaptera/Herouveim [spelling ?] : Elite Angels that Dante fights upon reaching "Heaven".They are like the DT version of Dante,faster,stronger and more menacing than normal Dante but more beautifull.
Grab : None.Nero doesn't face them.
Buster : Dante fights with one and "loses" the Rebellion in the fight.He then goes DT and calls the sword back to him,stabbing the enemy from behind and unleashes a fierce combo of brutal attacks ending with him getting back the Rebellion and slicing the enemy in half.And returning to normal.
I'm curently thinking of a way to get back "Agni and Rudra" somehow.
Anyway...How about this :

Actually i really wanna reveal the shocks and secrets now but ill post parts of the story to keep u guys intrigued!
i love the enemies you guys come up with... its good we've started on Dante's heavenly foe's. I'm also working on putting in the story that Dante will still face demons in heaven as Angels keep them as slaves bound with holy chains and forced to do their bidding ie. Blades with chain all over their bodies and digging into their skin as well as strange looking muzzles! What you guys think of that?
you would think so but im putting the "supernatural" twist on the Angels (they think of humans as inferior to them) and there is a reason why they want Dante dead which is one of the big secrets

Rafail[Raphael] and Mihail[Micheal] : Like Agni and Rudra they are fought together.They wield two spears,one empowered with humanity's negative feelings(Rafail[Raphael]) and one empowered by humanity's positive feelings(Mihail[Micheal]).They will look identical,as two beatifull,young lads,with long hair,but a strong sense of duty[even twisted].When they are both defeated they join in one angel with eight wings,a blue eye and gold eye wielding the two lances.It will fight,far more fiercely,like a DT of sorts with health regeneration among other augments.After defeating them,Dante gets the lances.
Buster : Dante grabs the complete being and tries to throw it.The angel falls for the feint and Dante grabs the spears and unleashes a flurry of strikes while going DT,that ends with him performing a Stinger like move in full power.Then he throws the lances back and returns to normal.
Haven't thought of gameplay yet...but i'll see what i can do.

i like it devil bane... i was looking to introduce versions of "real" archangels... but those names are awesome and i might work on some designs for them. My idea is for Dante to start with Rebellion (which you discover has a power Sparda and Yamato does not have) and over the coarse of the game get 2 Devil Arms & 2 "Angel Arms"... Also not ALL of the Angels are ***holes... there are a couple who have honour and become allies of Dante...but the majority aren't good @ all... especially the "Archangel General" who will be the last, 3 part boss battle, in Dante's story. Think of him as the DMC universe version of a god. Dante will have to unleash his "true power" to defeat him... but there is a twist as to what his true power is...he is more than just half human/half demon... I think you guys will love it...well I hope anyway

Dammit man,you know how to keep us intrigued.I thought of those two since they are the most famous of the archangels and stuff,and wanted them to be like the "honourable enemy who fights for what he thinks is right for all" so in a way they are not disliked by Dante nor they dislike the son of Sparda.Rather they believe it's a pity they met under these circumstances and their beliefs differ.Hence the "twisted sense".Wonder who the general is.And i don't assume it's the "Majin form" you are talking about.2 "angel arms"...hm...OK,the spears will be named something like...Kakia and Areti,with Kakia being the dark elemental spear with the negative thoughts,while Areti is the Light elemental spear with the positive thoughts.Dante wields them simulteniously.

Dante isn't too happy when he defeats them as they fade away in a brilliant flash of light and put their essence into the spears. Could be quite a sad scene. Just a quick side note about Dante's gameplay -
Trickster - When fully upgraded, the Dash movements will be as fast as RE5 Wesker - it would seem that Dante is teleporting all over the place.
Royal Guard - This style is now all about counterattacks and unbalancing your enemy. When perfectly timed, Dante will put his enemy off balance and vulnerable to attacks - which do double damage when enemies are "vulnerable"
Swordmaster - This will show off swordplay like never before. Dante will do incredible damage at breakneck speed. A truely breathtaking style.
Gunslinger - Utilise guns like never before. Special moves will now be accessable ie. Dante will spin like a tornado with E & I equipt and spray bullets on all sides of him
Devil Magic - Imagine moves like Summoned Swords (more like lucifer swords) and different, new magics never before seen in DMC.
