I completely forgot about patches. Which was pretty foolish of me, since I had just downloaded a patch for Dead Island today. Ah well. And even now as it is, Beast Mode looks really fun to play. I just hope these people were playing on a lower difficulty, because the human AI sometimes acted completely dumb.
Yeah console patches this generation have totally changed the way that developers can tweak products after release and fix issues. Id imagine it was a lower difficulty as its hard to show off decent chunks of gameplay when your dying a lot and the screen is red all the time from being shot from all angles.
