This is freaken funny!

.
That is not funny, its the story of my life, after 70 dollars and one hug later, I befriended Fluttershy and through her met my loving girlfriend, Applejack.

After Applejack and I started dating, I died in my line of duty as an Equestrian Police officer, however I was brought back to life by the goddess Celestia, I was now Robocop, Part man part machine, all cop. Applejack was depressed and needed a shoulder to cry on so she started dating her friend Twilight Sparkle, but my old police partner, Rainbow Dash, recognized me and said "Mrrandomlulz its you". After this I decided the man who killed me would pay, I searched high and low through police records until I came across an entry stated "Ivan Drago" and two names in the victims caught my attention, "Mrrandomlulz" and "Carl Weathers". I went out for revenge. I fought long and hard against Drago, until eventually I ruined his master plan of taking over the West wing, Apparently, Rainbow Dash had told Applejack about me being the Robocop, Applejack tried to make it up with me, but she was dating Twilight now. Twilight, being the Mary Sue she is, understood, and we all lived happily ever after.

hmmm. I think that people over estimate Dante's role in DMC4. DMC4 was Nero's story, not Dante's. Dante wasn't meant to have any development, he was just there so that it could be called DMC. Dante was not meant to develop as a character in that game. Sucks, I know, but that was Nero's time in the spot light, not Dante's.

More reason to not have Dante in the game at all. Or maybe just an unlocked character at the end instead of making an icon turn into a blithering idiot. With Dante out of the picture, Nero could of had better character development. too bad. so sad.

The combo meter seems a little too easy. I seen Dante literally stand around for like 2 seconds and still have enough time to retain a B style. I hope its not as ruthless as dmc2's style meter. I hope its around dmc3 and i hope there are taunts because i promise you i will get tire of using that damn whip. And if i can keep my meter by flipping off a demon, i will be more than happy about it.

Are you kidding? There was never any chance of that, a DMC game without Dante? Come on! Would you buy it? No, and nether would anyone else, specially after the splash he made in 3 which was the critic and fan favorite thus far. You remember how people reacted when They announced Dante taking a backseat to Nero, can you imagine what would've happened if he wasn't in it at all!

Im actually not kidding, and if Capcom wanted to introduce new Characters as the main lead, instead of making Dante seem completely useless, they should take more time on creating someone who is captivating as Dante. Onimusha series pretty much did that and with every entry, its been quite good.
But i do understand what you mean about Dante fanboys but the sales for DMC3 doesn't reflect how good it was. And i think thats what capcom was looking at when they made dmc4

For that to work they would've neede to start with 2 and make each entree with a new protagonist not one or two.

I think one of the reason why DMC 3 didn't sell well because many fans are afraid that dmc 3 sucks just like dmc 2.

DMC3 sold better than 2 and 2 sold better than 1. DMC3 was financial success at 2.09 mil and the special edtion 2.21 million world wide.

Maybe the reboot can surpassed DMC 4's sales.
But 5 mil?
I find it unlikely especially there are still many haters.

Who here bought god of war 3?
i bought it used and took it back on the 6th day

Capcom never fully committed with any new character. They basically through Dante in to repeat the same levels as the newest main protagonist. Had they made a game strickly for Lucia, maybe they would of had a better story. Same for Nero.
But i do realize that Dante is the main character of DMC and his story should remain the main focus of any dmc game.

When DMC2 was released, it demolished dmc1 in sales, but dmc3 didn't outsell dmc2 until years after. Granted dmc2 was a failure and people were reluctant to buy it, over time it did out sell dmc2 (which it should of, and it should of out sold dmc4 as well) Maybe DmC will repeat history with the story focused on Dante once again but also have the momentum that dmc2 had. If DmC is any good, like above my expectations, over time it could out sell dmc4

Oh right, the song playing on the first combat is not Never Surrender anymore, yet another thing where The Fight is superior to the current demo...

Who here bought god of war 3?
I wanted to. So bad.
But I played it along with some friends. It was a fun, mindless gore-fest with awesome graphics, as expected.

Years later, I would find out that awesome combos can be strung together in that game with some practice. Maybe it's worth a buy.

actually i like the new songs playing while you fight, i like the never surrender song as well, but the battle songs sound like original pieces of work and they are great! :) but everybody has different tastes. :)
