Favorite Style

What's your favorite style for Dante in Devil May Cry 3 and 4? For the third one, it's Swordmaster. I've never liked Royal Block or Trickster, I rarely use Gunslinger. Quicksilver and Doppleganger are pretty crappy unless your using them with the super character. In four Swordmaster is also my favorite.

Gotta say my fav is trickster in both. I probably dont play as much as other peeps, so im not super good, so trickster comes in handy when playing on the super hard difficulties.

yep swordmaster is the best for me also, plus it helps with areial attacks.

Swordmaster all the way, 3 and 4 I prefer Gunslinger over Royal Guard, so Gunslinger is my second fave I guess. A mix of swordmaster and gunslinger.

^ I agree, swordmaster helps with Ariel attacks a lot.

Kind of a toss up between Trickster and Sword Master.

i mean i freakin love it man it's easy once you get the hang of it....anyways

Hey, did I ever say I DIDN'T like Royal Guard. It has it's merits IMO and I quite enjoy using it from time to time. I just generally prefer the two styles I mentioned beforehand.

I don't hate it, I just never use it. I've never realy practiced with it, I just rip through enimies and move on. I always found it too slow.

Royal Guard is kick ass, im just not very skilled with it tbh.

I liked Quicksilver and Doppelganger.

Loved using them to inflict lost of damege.:lol:

I'm one of those rare few who loves to use Gunslinger. I find it useful for when I'm outnumbered (which is most of the time). Also I can do lethal combo's with it in DMC3.

2. Gunslinger(Cause I like blasting up the enemies in different ways)
3. Swordmaster(Cause I like the different ways to slice and dice foes)

I seriously hated the Royalguard. It is completely useless to me.

^it is hard to really use the royalguard style but i've trained alot in dmc4 with it and i can fix mission 18 like a piece of cake with royalguard now

I seriously hated the Royalguard. It is completely useless to me.

My girlfriend also loves Trickster, mainly because she like to dodge attacks. I'll take the attack if I have to. I'm pretty good at dodging without Trickster.
