Hey guys, first time creating a thread, but straight to the point.

A. What was your favorite track by Combichrist in DmC?

B. What was your favorite track by Nosia?

C. if there is a sequel (high hopes here for me), what other Combichrist songs should be included in, and what of any other artist that could fit the bill for DmC's overall theme/tone?

A: If I really had to chose, it'd be a tie between Deahbed (which wasn't in the game but in the album) or buried alive.

B: The Hunter Theme

C:
Combichrist

Shut up and Swallow

F*ck that Sh*t

Maggots at the party

For other songs, I'd love to see some Trip hop in the mix.

Tricky: Hell is around the corner

Massive Attack: Mezzanine

I like song that plays during camera extermination level though I don't have a clue how it's called. (that's demo level)

I like Combichrist's aggrotech contributions more than Noisa because I'm not a fan of dubstep.

For a hypothetical sequel then it would be cool to see multiple bands lend their sound.
-System of a Down
-Five Finger Death Punch
-Combichrist
-Nine Inch Nails
-Disturbed
-Rise Against
-Girugamesh

-Daft Punk
Example:

-Massive Attack
Example:

-Kanye West's producing.
Example:

-RZA
Example:

-Japanese cartoon (Lupe Fiasco's band)
Example:

-System of a Down
Example:

-Serj Tankian
Example:

RAMMSTEIN!
Example: (All of it. I don't care, all of it.)

A. Combichrist songs.
  • "Gimme DeathRace"
  • "Buried Alive"
  • "Falling Apart"
  • "No Redemption"
  • "How Old Is Your Soul?"
  • "Empty
Also, there were a LOT of in-game, unreleased battle tracks that I really ended up liking (I ended up scouring the game files in order to download them). One is when the Rages turn up in Bob Barbas's prison, the other I'm not certain where it's used.

B. Noisia
  • Kat's Theme
  • Secret World
  • The Trade
And that's really it. I wasn't a fan of all the deafening techno tracks. They weren't bad, but they weren't memorable either.

And then, there's these two, which I swear to God should've been in the game somewhere. One is the Japanese trailer theme...
...and the other is an unreleased track the uploader CLAIMS was composed by Devil May Cry sound veteran, Tatsuya Shibata. Whether or not that's true, I'm not fairly certain...but I think it's an empowering song regardless.

C. I know a lot of bands I'd like to see in a DmC sequel, but given the demonic nature and sometimes Gothic overtones of the series (which they may revive in a sequel, given that Limbo's out of its "governmental rule" stage, and demons are officially running amok), I'd recommend some power metal.

My mythological, blissful rhapsody, harmonious impossibility of a dream would be a collaboration between Lost Continent and Kamelot.

If only....

Ok, so this is not in order, just the tracks I like in this game:
Combichrist:
  1. Sent to destroy
  2. Follow the trail of blood
  3. Gimme deathrace
  4. Pull the pin
  5. what the f*ck is wrong with you
Noisia:
  1. Bob barbas theme
  2. Lilith's club
  3. Kat's theme

Last edited:
  1. never surrender
  2. pull the pin
  3. what the f*ck is wrong with you
  4. gotta go
  5. crush him
  6. poison
  7. gimmie death race

Combi: How Old is Your Soul? and Sequential One is a really close second. I've really got a thing for Sun of Ice, too.

Noisia: Home Truth Reprise

And as far as boss themes go, it'd be the Hunter Theme

Sequel: Eh, how about Combichrist's entire We Love You album? Nah, just kidding, though when I first listened to it, it kinda felt like DmC Ost 2.0.
As for other bands, hm, actually I'd be fine with them just sticking to Noisia and Combichrist.
However, I could kinda see Celldweller work, especially since he's also got orchstra influences in his style, which might be matching considering that a DmC2 would most likely have an a little more dark tone. Also, we just need a more orchestral sounding track for fighting Nero Angelo, 'aight?
idk. I'm not good with that kinda stuff...
