Movie buff, thought I'd ask. What were your favorite movies of 2014? Or even some movies you don't like? For me, my 5 favorites (in release order) are Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Godzilla, X-Men Days of Future Past, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and Guardians of the Galaxy (What can I say? I'm still that little kid who was a fan of monsters, superheros, Science Fiction, and Fantasy. Though I also enjoyed Whiplash, American Sniper, and Birdman) only movies I disliked though were Transformers 4 and I, Frankenstein. My guilty pleasure movie of 2014 I give to Dracula Untold. And RoboCop, Ninja Turtles, Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Maleficent were all 'okay' (Either not as good as I was expecting/hoping, or not as bad)
