Favorite DmC quotes?

You know, it still occurs pretty often that I'm playing DmC and Dante says something that I haven't heard before.

Like, for instance, I was beating up some demons in Lilith's club and Dante was winning (of course) and he couldn't stop saying: "YES!" and "Perfect!" and stuff like that.

And now, I just finished the Succubus boss fight and I intentionally screwed up a few times, and when the Succubus vomits and you leave Dante to stand in the middle of it, I'm pretty sure he says something along the lines of: "Damn! What was she eating?" (The music made it difficult to hear it.)

Do you guys have any favorite lines, or maybe things Dante doesn't often say that you like? Of course, it can be other characters too. Haaaave you ever paid attention to what Succubus actually says to Dante? Oh gosh.

Something I noticed during Mission 4 was during the sequence when those demonic hurdles of glass appear. If you shoot them like you're supposed to, Dante says: "Nicely done, girls." But out of curiosity, I went back and intentionally refrained from shooting. If Dante gets injured, he grunts: "That could've gone better." I dunno why, but I always found that funny.

I can't help but wonder if there's a way to see ALL the possible in-game dialogue, and what you have to do to trigger it. Maybe there's information in the game files...

Also, this whole "alternate in-game dialogue" thing would've been a really nice addition to the old DMC games. Like if Dante made commentary about his surroundings, or grunted if he made a mistake. That'd be cool...it make him seem more natural and less forced.

Okay, that was the EXACT reason why I wanted this thread, see I didn't know that! Now I want to make a gifset of it on Tumblr.

Also if you parry the Succubus, one of the times you start to hit her Dante says something like: "Don't you like it when I hit on you?"

I really like the way he delivers these lines. Dante's body language is pretty amazing in this game IMO, kudos to NT & Phillips for that.

It's really a shame they got rid of taunting though, that one is truly unforgivable.

Oh man, that would've been awesome. I've never really heard a clear explanation as to why they left that out.

Dante's taunting in All-Stars was awesome.

The little details do make things cooler. Like when you angel glide close to a wall Dante will slide his fingers along it etc.
