(I just had to have that title for this thread...)

*AHEM* Anyhow I am actually quite curious where a few things have gone, for one thing there is no CP link reffering me to my control pannel, I have to go to that via my private message inbox. And another thing is that I cannot view another member's, or even my own reputation points not when I access my CP to edit, but when I just view it when I click my name or someone elses on mine/their post. Now quick question, what is the point of having a reputation on posts when people cannot even see them? C'mon, we wanna show how good our little community is to other guests don't we? Like the teachers nagging you to have a neat school uniform to make some sort of a good first impression to visiting teachers or guests or new year seven pupils. But anyway, someone please clarify where and why these things are gone?

Thanks,
KoRn.

you get directed to your CP. There you can view your reputations.;)
Not all of them, but the most recent.

It's a Vbulletin hack that would need to be reinstalled - the reason it was removed in the first place is because it was creating duplicate content which we get penalised for by the search engines.

Steve may reconsider putting it back, but he needs to make it SEO friendly first.

Unlikely at this moment in time...I think it requires extra hacks or something technical which I won't even begin to pretend to understand

It would be nice to have it back, but that would be up to Steve and his superior knowledge of...y'know...stuff...

Oh well if the mod installment has caused problems previously then I am not going to say anything about installing it again. But even so if youn reinstall this hack would the problem be cleared up or...? :)

If it was mainly for it recreating duplicate google content then reinstalling the hack would cause same issues as before. Isnt a way around it really to my knowledge, its either you have the feature to look nice and such and be penalised or remove it completely.
