DragonMaster played the DmC demo! XD

Alot is reading it from at least two people every time I log on to a site or check out a forum.

So let's call it quits? If that didn't happen with DMC2 why with 4?

Cause I guess Capcom was like

"DMC2 failed so let's bring it back with a younger Dante."

Success.

"We still want a younger audience and more money so lets do one with a new young character."

Not so good.

"Okaaay...New plan! Make a younger Dante again like we did in DMC3 but this time, make him more western and the game will be an alternate story! And to make sure it's not completely like DMC3, let's even get a western company to make it.""

I don' know about that. Capcom follows the money and it could hardly be said that DMC was a financial failure.

If I remember the story Capcom wanted to get the sale numbers that GoW was getting, it's not like their's was the inferior product. SO what's missing? Western appeal.

I think this new DmC is exactly what they needed to do after 4. Now, the original series was fantastic (read my other posts and sometimes you may be seeing me kissing it's ass) but with 4, I felt they should have stayed the original story and shown a more mature dante going into hell to fight the king of the underworld. Instead they threw in some little wimp and his girlfriend then added in Dante so they could try to make it a DMC game.

Because we can't have a DMC game without dante, right? well they realized I think how they made a problem with 4 in terms of story telling and they needed to just restart the series and get a clean slate. Because if DMC 4 happened after DMC 2, it doesn't explain why Dante changed personalities so much to where he was a completely different character in almost every game.
