^ I know, to be honest, I loved Dmc for 1 and 3. 4 is good, but Vergil really made the story at the beginning, if he is gone or whatever then to be honest vergil was pointless, which sucks.
 
Virgils an awesome character that should be a prominant part in atleast 2 more games ~nuff said.
 
As much as a Vergil fan I am, I have to say that DMC is practically about Dante, and not his bro, so Capcom have the right to kill off or not any characters as long as it's not Dante.
I really hope they don't, though.
 
- not enough said- why do so many not care for Vergil's "absence" he should be in at least 3, he has been in 1, you can't count nelo Angelo in 1 coz that was vergil possessed, so he was a completely different character in that.
 
^ I agree, bearing in mind that in 1 he was not a part of the story, just an annoying boss that got in the way.

he is in a part of the story...a half devil human is brainwashed by Mundus and transformed to Nelo Angelo to do his bidding and dirty works...:)
 
I think they are planning to bring him back, especially since all the Knights and Nero are linked to him. Knights look like Nelo Angelo and Nero has his 'spirit' and DT.

I was always under the impression that Virgil was taken over my Mundus/possessed not brain washed.

I know he is a part of the story, I meant his role in 1's story is not as strong as in 3.
 
Agree, but you could say he deserves to return to have a bigger part right?

You're definitely wrong.

Vergil's part in the DMC storyline is equal to that of Dante. It's another matter that of the spotlight thing. We have been accustomed with Dante, and that is why say that for his brother.

Yes. Yes it is.

Virgil is half of Sparda alike Dante, even if they are still on diffrent sides of the battle they are the story.

Dante is the primary protagonist EASILY, but the story isnt about Sparda, its about Spardas effect on out world after he saved it. The three main effects are Dante, Virgil and Nero. Three heros made from his blood.

Virgil needs to return, can you imagine the ingame moves where Dante and Virgil are fighting side by side against hordes of enemies...I would spend the £45 on a ten minuite clip of that.

Virgil is needed.
I can argue this more if you like :D
 
I suppose, but he needs another story role, 3 was great agree, how great would it be without Vergil, it wouldn't as he is the whole point of 3, probably main character.

Dmc: Dante-main character.
Dmc2: Dante-main character.
Dmc3: Vergil-main character.
Dmc4: Nero-main character.

^ that's how I see it. Chaos master you aren't wrong, logically.

You have good points Aseroth, just sometimes arguing is not the best thing to do.

And Chaos Master is 18, that means he is a grown man, not a kid.

It is obvious that the one who got ****ed at the very beginning was Chaos Master. Saying to someone about his post that is wrong, It is not an insult, It is a notification, and therefore I explained to him why.

I'm the one who is cooled and relaxed all the time, and I don't need to confirm that for sure. In his profile, he's 17, and his actions made me call him a kid.

Now If you excuse me, I have the second part of the second part of Chapter 1 of The Legendary Dark Knight Sparda to type...
