As the title suggests, is now the time for it

Should we get it at all

And what would you want from it if we did?

Me I think it's the right time

What I want from it , a good story that ties everything in and fills in the gaps

Amazing gameplay with sparda rebellion and yamato as the devil arms , but with the dark knights own set of moves for them and not Dante and Vergils moves

Ldk like fights agains mundus's army

Demon and human world missions across multiple centuries

Proper backstory that covers the uprising and all events up to his demise

Tbh I don't think there was ever a bad time for a Sparda-centered game. They should have just did it already.

I'm cool with showcasing his initial rebellion against Mundus or how he fell in love with Eva or both. The case of the week structure could still work with Sparda as he lived for 2000+ years and had numerous untold adventures.

Precisely, there is so much room for Story arcs

All the different wars and crusades he could have fought in or stopped and loads more

Sparda story deserves to be heard. Think Big Boss, Jonathan Joestar and Leon Belmont.

Yeah, a Sparda game would be cool. And since the "Sons of Sparda saga" is over, now is the best time for Capcom to make a Sparda game.

I do want it, but quite frankly that probably could be a grand-strategy RTS, just as it could be hack-and-slash.

I dunno, a lot of us have said it sure, myself included. But I'm starting to think it might just ruin the mystery of Sparda by devoting an entire game to him.

Yeah, some things are best left untouched. If you take a look at really good writers (Tolkien etc.), they all gave the reader the bare minimum of information necessary to understand what is going on. Mystery is part of the world, and what makes it really interesting in the long run; there's no fun to be had if there is nothing to discuss.
