Ninja Gaiden is really ****ing awesome, i don't played NG3 until now, but i'm interested in Razor's Edge; just don't know if i'll really get the game, a lot of people told me that even with the fair upgrades and improved combat i would still be somewhat disappointed if i liked NGS and NGS2 too much.
 
It's not one game series, though. DmC: Devil May Cry has started over with the story, doing it in a different way. It doesn't only bring people together, because it's not one series. It was a series, but it's been replaced by DmC. Of course you can expect people to be ****ed off about that.

Even Metal Gear Rising played more fluidly and had a nice control scheme. It possibly even had better graphics (not saying anything about art direction, mind you), less annoying, pubescent characters, cooler enemies, and of course, no friggin Noisia and ****. I still can't get over that Ken doll of a Vergil, or that hooligan asshole of a Dante. That's not Devil May Cry to me. Ironically, MGR comes closer to being a DMC game, which is sad.

I will not respond to angry replies of ''how dare you say that'' or ''well, I don't agree''. Good for you, but I don't care. I don't respond to puerile remarks. Wait, you mean to tell me THAT'S why people do this comparing stuff with DmC and MGR, because MGR has the same overdramatic style? O.O

I don't remember DMC1 being like DMC4. Sure it had that same thing, but DMC4 went way over board with it at times, but I think I can get why people like MGR for it despite it differing from the MGS formula.

DmC could've done with more action @.@ they stood around and talk a lot in those cutscenes.

Devil May Cry is not 'one thing or another'. DMC is all elements combined. You can't take one element of the games and go: "that's DMC". Just like Assassin's Creed is not just a lot of running around killing people. DMC, like all games, is the sum of its parts, not just 'a few parts and that's all'.

i dont see how you would be disappointed in ng3re if you played the earlier games i loved ng2 and i found RE to be a great game

But every game changes doesn't it? Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 are nothing like 4, 5 and 6. That means there are multiple elements, so then how do you tell apart elements aren't part of something when each part has gone through some form of change at some point or another? o.o
