DMD Stream

I think he's on mission 15 as of this post; looks pretty punishing. Chaser and Dahbomb are there guaranteeing dat high-level intellectual DMC chat.

Also, I hope NT does something about the inconsistency of game models when you use other outfits. The guy is playing with the white hair model, but it keep jumping back and forth between that and black hair. Sometimes the cutscene will play with him having the white hair, sometimes it will be with black.

I've just watched the Mundus fight on DMD, and damn, it was easy as a piece of cake...Disappointed with him, to be honest.

The player defeated Mundus in less than 1 minute, lol. He took a hard time with the swordsmen demons than the Prince of Hell.

I like how Vergil recovered almost a third of his HP on DMD, during the final part of the battle.

However, Mundus fight was ridiculous and quite easy. I don't what happened, but I was expecting something hard.

So do the last couple missions erase what happened before? He died a **** load of times and struggled quite in the previous missions.

It looked pretty challenging to me overall. I'd say it's on the level of DMC4, which was a challenge.

DMD Vergil seemed to be actually decent. His AI was actually more aggresive. But the camera was really really bad, I almost got motion sick.

Sadly enough, no way near how Vergil 3 were in DMC3 on DMD.

And don't even get me started on Mundus.

It looked pretty fun to me. Yeesh, these standards are ridiculous with you guys.

DMC5 wouldn't even meet up to them.

It is fun. And I was a fan. But now I'm just disappointed that Vergil wasn't an all-out berserker. Was that you, btw? Were you the other Frantix on that livestream?

It's not DMD mode that sucks but the combat seems to have moves that you can spam quite a lot and get nothing but reward. Like the Aquila's launcher and Eryx's air launcher.

The missions were somewhat hard but the Mundus' boss fight was 20 minutes cutscenes, and 5 minutes of totally owning him with Arbiter. Simple and Clean. And when you think Vergil is going to be helping you like he did in DMC3 it turns out he gets molested by Mundus instead. Overall, it is a pretty crappy boss XD

Frantix01, yeah.

Look, I'm sorry that this stream seemed to have changed your mind on the game. Which is unfortunate, I guess. But honestly, that stream made me more excited to play the game. I'm beyond hyped now. It just sounds like your expectations were too high.

So you played it then? Or you just watched the guy play it and shared.

Also those criticisms are present in past DMC games as well. The Savior boss fight, Sanctus, -- and not to mention Dante's BROKEN move set in DMC4.

See, this is what I was talking about. I was just expecting the bosses to be really hard and shut the trollers up. Didn't happen. Now, I'm just not really for the game anymore. *sigh*

Yeah, I tried to explain the broken moveset in DMC4, and I was trolled. At least the bosses were way harder there than they were here. *sigh*

Anyway, I'm glad you're hyped for the game. It's like everyone hates it, now. Especially now that they've seen everything DMD has to offer...

No, I actually liked Vergil on DMD. I was complaining only about Mundus, though. ;)

For most part, the reception to this game from people that actually played it is pretty positive. Most of this criticism is coming from bitter fans that hope that this game will fall on its face and are looking for reasons to hate it. All the while re-writing history and claiming that the previous games were better than they actually were.

They're very loud with their discontent, but that's it.

Yeah, the louder they are, the worse it gets for the supporters. Anyway, I was referring to the people in the livestream. I was talking about how even DMC3 and 4 were broken at some parts, and they acted like I insulted their honor. Wow.

Anyway, I even admitted that DMC3 was the best DMC game, but I kept insisting that DmC was just as good as DMC4. You can imagine what happened when I said that. Burn. :/
