The age of consent thing is more of a society thing rather than the government although the government can enforce it. The age of consent laws mostly are applied to the media to prevent the sexual exploitation of teens and child pornography.

Its set up for a reason to prevent 30 years old to date and/or engage in sexual activity with 5 year olds.

I wish the government can't dictate where I can and can't jack off to. :woot:

I don't have strong feelings about NT Dante's design one way or another really.
I prefer OG Dante but its not terrible or anything.
Im a big fan of new Vergil tho.
Not as good as the original but pretty damn close to me.

17 and 18 are fine plus most (or all) people really wouldn't know. Its if they're above 18 is where it really matters.

17 and 19.....a slight problem only if someone (a family member or friend/bystander complains)

but something like 16 and 20 is when they reach the white line. I mean with someone who is 17 they will be 18 soon versus 16 and lower.

Plus like Meg said the age of consent in the US differ from state to state and it all depends on the area you live in and the people in general.

If a couple (15 and 20) are in a relationship someone (whether it be someone in the relationship, a friend, or anyone) can report it to the police. Its like indecent exposure where it depends....like if a girl flashes me I can technically either report her to the police or not and let it slide.

The police and the law mainly go after sex offenders who are out to abuse and manipulate the young and others usually never 2 people who are in a healthy relationship, that is up to the friends, family, and the people in the relationship to determine if its an issue or not.

And that's kinda what I've got an issue with, that you can just report people, even though they have a healthy relationship, especially if the age difference is as small as 17 and 19, it just doesn't seem right to me :/ Like, I'm sure there are a whole lotta overly protective parents out there.

Gosh we got so off-topic again... so... uhm... I really like Poison's design. Because it clashes so much with what you'd expect a succubus to look like, and ... stuff.

Well, even though she doesn't directly engage in combat, it seems that she has to at least run from the police every now and then - spraying graffity ain't nothing they like seeing someone do, y'know? Also, as I said, it seems to be at least fall or even winter when DmC takes place, so it's just too cold for those kinda shorts.

How would wearing short shorts impede her ability to run? And how can you tell what season it is? None of the weather we see in the real world of DmC is exclusive to any season.

I was never saying her boobs was a problem I was talking about her well endowed bust and measurements seems to be rather odd on such a scrawny body of hers. If anything wouldn't Trish and Lady have a more normal body type since they're not as skrawny as Kat. I'm just saying Kat needs some more meat on her bones.

Trish is a demon so laws of human anatomy and proper movement structure don't apply to her (same goes for Lucia). Lady wear such free and unrestricted clothing to allow for her more free flowing acrobatic movement. Lady sort of needs to dress skimpy (although DMC3 was fine...DMC4 was over doing it) to allow for her form of combat to work. Kat last I check doesn't fight so what is her excuse to dress rather revealing compared to her male companions? Fanservice? Cause they felt like it?

If anything you should be judging NT for portraying a 16-17 old as slightly sexual (or sexual) based on your take on the ass and boob shots...but the age of consent might be lower in the UK than the US (which is 18) in Japan the age of consent is 13.....0r 14 and that explains the sexual depiction of teenage girls in various media (particular anime and manga).

Kat's measurements are almost below average compared to most 16-17 years. And how do they look to big? They're not exactly jiggling with every step she takes and if she wore some more practical clothing they wouldn't even be that noticeable.

As for the weather either way someone looks stupid.

If its warm won't Dante and Vergil seem like they're over dressing and both are wearing a large excessive amounts of black (especially Dante) so they should be attracting a lot of heat and be burning up in all that clothing (especially Vergil). Then again why is Kay wearing a sweater unless she wants to..........sweat more.

If its cold out....put on some damn pants....although I know schools who allow girls to wear skirts during the winter...even if they're wearing stockings it must be very uncomfortable.

As for the weather it might be spring where both are fine or the usual answer most writings take in "What weather?" and just leave it ambigious because unless there is a reason why the weather (or time) actually mattered to the plot there is no reason to be specific about the weather.

If fighting dozens of demons with seamingly heavy melee weapons wouldn't make Dante or Vergil sweat then why would it being hot do it?
