DMC4SE Vergil combat discussion

I've seen many players make videos of Vergil, and so far, I can say with confidence that they're using him completely wrong. I've discovered many cool cancels with him so far, such as ultra rapid slash and rapid drive, and I have yet to see any high level players utilize these techniques.

If anybody wants to know exactly what I mean, let me know and I'll start a stream from my ps4 to better explain these cancels

Uhm....I'm sorry, but who are you say and tell others that they're using a "character completely wrong?" The whole point of games like this one is to gave players a plethora of options to play with them however they want.

You haven't watched the right people then , check out zenus and donguri and see what there doing , thanks to the former I saw vergil can rapidly cancel and use judgement cut in mid air and send enemies airborne with it and they have done the rapid slash cancel too but hey if your that certain post some vids

me too, I try and not to spam it though, unless its those little Achidna baby's who can't get air juggled.

Looks like Vergil can get through just about any mission much more easily than other characters, despite their own OP moves.

yes he have damage but some bosses became more difficult for him, like Credo for example (imho)

Yeah, armored enemies seem to be more of a hassle for him than other characters.
