DmC wins 'best of Gamescon' award.

Anyways, I still hold the notion that it wouldn't have gotten the reward if Vergil wasn't in it.

I find Tokyo game show to be slightly smaller than E3. but my problem, with it is that it seems to be the one where all the sh*tstorms START, and E3 is the one that SILENCES them.

Just look at DmC's flame war, it's a prime example of a ginormous sh*tstorm, started where exactly did it start? TOKYO GAME SHOW! and where did it ease, E3! It hasn't ended, but E3 silenced a large chunk of it.

That is very true even though Gamescon seemed to have rekindled the flames or hate and fanboy rage but not as nearly as bad the TGS.

it would have won anyway, vergils been in the game since day 1. they just didnt show him to us.

People can now complain about the direction of the story, Vergil's design and character, and overall difficulty and challengingness of the game.

Gamescom, the party doesn't stop there. The Japanese are a much tougher and far more particular crowd. DmC will get it's first real test in TGS. It will have to prove, once and for all, it's worthiness in the eyes of the greatest and most picky, technical, precise gamers on earth. Metal gear rising will definitely have an edge there and will probably pull out it's big guns. If it has any. We know Dante certainty still has.

C'mon platinum, c'mon Ninja... impress me.

I can't read French for the first one.

And the second one said Dead or Alive 5 won best fighting game............with Tekken Tag Tournament 2 as one of its competitors I don't take the second one seriously but its reasonable why DmC won its category.

Oh yeah. TGS was where the big unvaile was shown and fans were ****ed. Now after three years of fixing up, gameplay tune ups, and a lot of work, NT and Capcom have to nut up or shut up this time.

Where it all began, this will prove how it's improved since then.

Will it come out on top this time?

You'll just have to wait at Tokyo Game Show.
