DmC wins 'best of Gamescon' award.

Again, just because the list was biased, doesn't mean DmC wasn't deserving of the reward.

I actually enjoyed alot of what they had to show at gamescon. (Preferably the Bob Barbas stage.)

Geez first all the media protecting DmC, then the fact the game hasn't gotten any negative reviews from critics & journalists just positive ones or a few in between ones, Reuben, the voice of Dante, approves of the game, and now this.

Nothing but how great the game is....geez any past DMC games ever got this much great press.

i don't believe so lol

I thought this thread was going to be sucker free.

Well, guess what suckers, DmC is beating your favorite game in the "best of" department.

That Deadpool game looks like it'll have bland backgrounds and uninspired settings.

I think DmC got the best impression at E3.

Anyway what did they show for Metal Gear Rising at Gamescon anyway?

Not much more than before. Dog with chainsaw. More hacky slashy military action in brown and grey environments with broken rocks and ruble everywhere. Anime voice-overs synced to open-close mouth flaps. Nice- but not surprising or unique. Combat looks good.

Plus guys, we have to remember, call of duty made the list, and for this reason, the list should not be taken seriously.

(Not to say any of the games on it are not worthy of being there, but if Call of Duty makes it, it is laughably biased.)
Call of Duty makes every list no matter what, it's like a running gag of the industry nowadays:lol:

COD4 is the FPS game that every other FPS game wants to be better than..

Obviously, they are failing at it.
Sooner or later CoD will take the same route as Guitar Hero, it's so naive from Activision to think they can continue milking their series year after year.
I would definitely pay for one decent Spidey game, instead they offer me crappy one every new year.

I'm so glad Capcom hasn't done this, but still all of those versions of street fighter IV... >_< and DLC

It's hard to be sucker free in a world full of lollipops.

You dissin' on Deadpool when it was just recently announced? Really? Have you learned nothing?

Don't come at me with that tone. That's a matter of opinion seeing as I've already stated that I'm excited for the Deadpool game. So no, it's not dissin' it's telling you WHY it isn't the best at this show. Now, you've learned something.

Tell the truth though, I don't really take Gamescom that seriously, I find it to be "Mini-E3"

I find Tokyo game show to be slightly smaller than E3. but my problem, with it is that it seems to be the one where all the sh*tstorms START, and E3 is the one that SILENCES them.

Just look at DmC's flame war, it's a prime example of a ginormous sh*tstorm, started where exactly did it start? TOKYO GAME SHOW! and where did it ease, E3! It hasn't ended, but E3 silenced a large chunk of it.
