Gah! They better not make the sex scenes mandatory, if there are any. .,,,. My parents already disapprove of me playing Bayonetta, we don't need them getting mad at me for playing DMC too.

What did your folks make of Devil may cry when they first saw it?

I think its different for a game to have nudity. Its almost comical.
I think DmC should just be more violent and over the top. If an enemy/boss is nude, I dont really mind at all especially for a demon. Doing nudity that way makes the enemy seem more off than normal, which I find .ok because my favorite enemy to fight in gow was madussa

Edit:its so hard typing on a smart phone
yeah i remember being so happy ripping madusa's head off in the first game
and then from there on in it was practically useless because i had poseidons rage XD
i was only a child when that game came out and did not get it till this year now that i am a teenager
The Irony am i right

My mom games sometimes too. She likes games like Ratchet and Clank, though. None of the gory stuff. Hell, she thought Shadow of the Colossus was too violent for her. XP

Both of your parents game?! That is so cool. I've tried Ratchet & Clank, not my type of game though (although i wanted to get Shadow of Colossus, but I'm afraid that I wouldn't like it)
The only thing i've got my mum to play (seriously) was Columns back on the Genesis.

Shadow of the Colossus is a niche game, but it's very fun if you've got patience.

EDIT: Sorry, off topic. Shall we continue with the normal topic?

Not sure what everyone is worried about, all DMC titles have been M and provably have the same list of content as this one.

^You've just given me a thought, could the new Dante be a Male Bayonetta?

Bayonetta has that sort of theme.... in some of her attacks anyway.

Nudity in video games shouldn't be that big of a deal! Yeah sure they're pixelated boobs, but why is it that you can see titsgalore in an immature movie like Conan the Barbarian (2011...I did not like it at all) while in a video game it's scandalous and wrong? That's just annoying, really. You can show limbs flying around and blood covering the walls and guts and brains hanging from sharp objects, but if one nipple slips, BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE. It's a strange mindset of human society, indeed.
In truth, I never felt the series should be M. I see more violence in a game like Lost Planet (and in 2 they use the word '****' and it's still T!). The Assassin's Creed series has way more sexual themes in one cut scene than the entire series in total. Language? Has Dante ever sworn? The only time I heard foul language was in DMC 4 when you fight Sanctus (just realized the ironic name). It seemed more like a heavy rated T game than a rated M game.
To me, M is like Dead Space (heavy gore) or God of War (gore and sex) or Prototype (gore and extreme violence). But what did DMC have? Some flashy combat with a few sprinkles of blood, two or three big-boobed girls, and a kid who flipped off another guy with his demon arm?
It's a major hole in logic to me.

yeah dead space was one of the few M games i've played worthy of the title but to me M/R will always be the disgrace to the alien and predator saga that one movie we called requiem *Twitches*that was gorapalooza

Dante swore in DMC3 too.

If it was more of a common thing in games (like violence), perhaps it wouldn't be so bad. I'm notnagainst that kind of thing in games (i'm stooped for Catherine's EU release), but DMC doesn't need to ooze that kind of stuff.

Adult content doesn't necessarily mean sex. It could just mean blood, gore and excessive violence.
I see this as a good thing though, then there are less kiddy content wrapped in pink butterflies.
I prefer it when action games are rated Mature.

well me and my bro are more around T rated gaming age but esrb never stopped us or really any 15-16 year old from playing this kind of game
