DmC Multiplayer Idea

I doubt anyone will actually read this, but I guess there is no harm in me trying. So, here is my idea as a PC player of DmC for Multiplayer.
DmC Multiplayer Mode
- 2 vs 2 teams or 1 vs 1 (so, two teams of Dante/Vergil, yes I'm talking about adding co-op, I'd pay for it, and I believe many others would also).
- 1 Minute Horde Mode Rounds in a Bloody Palace type Arena.
- Each team gets 60 seconds in this horde mode to obtain the most style points.
- At the very least, spectating must be allowed for both teams: whenever one team is playing, the other team must be able to watch.
- At the end of each round, the team with the highest style score wins.
- Videos can be recorded. + direct upload capabilities to youtube or other streaming websites like Twitch.tv would be a huge plus. (tons of free publicity)
Additional Suggestions to make mode even better:
- Several pre-made ranked modes of varying difficulties made by Ninja Theory.
- Custom Unranked Matches where the host can adjust game variables: enemy types, time limits, number of rounds, difficulty, etc.
- A regular bloody palace for 2 players. Make it ranked.
- An infinite bloody place for 2 players, see how long you can last. Make it ranked.

What you guys think, wouldn't this be awesome? Can you imagine the combo possibilities of a vergil/dante team.

There should also be an equipment unlocking level up system, killstreaks, and cross-promotion points you can earn in every refreshing can of Mountain Dew™ or bag of Doritos™

Dude, why do you troll every message about this game? No, it shouldn't have level up unlocks or any of that nonsense. If you read my suggestion that's what it is, just a simple horde mode for two players. Take your negative bs to another thread.

I like your ideas....got any more?
Better idea, instead of making a terrible MP side of the game...just make the campaign co-op compatible. there. End.

But I'm agreeing with you. Single player games aren't what the cool kids like nowadays, tacked on multiplayer is. I believe every game should take some resources from its single player content to make sure they add a halfassed multiplayer component.

Mm gonna have to ask you to stop trolling here. Cause your name says it all so stop trolling and let this fan suggestion go somewhere.

Id prefer mostly coop in these types of games mostly like they did with Dantes inferno. It works better rather that 2v2 its awful play NG3 or God of war 4 and it shows its just a cluster fuk of nothing.

Something on the lines of Bloody palace with Dante and Vergil would work loads better.

thats a nono DmC isn't very co-op friendly it's stylish action, hint stylish, i can't imagine 2 people running around together in DmC doing co-op

I'm not sure how that would work: because it'd be awkward narratively to have Dante and Vergil going through the game, not to mention balancing it out so its challenging and works. The reason an arena mode would work is because it would simply be built upon something that's already part of the Devil May Cry Franchine: Bloody Palace, and it would also fit into the culture of posting stylish combo videos on youtube. Another reason I'd dislike a co-op campaign is well it would have to radically change the game's narrative to make sense of however its implemented, see Dead Space 3. I mean I hear its okay, but the game is totally different with a friend, and everyone says it loses its creepy vibe.

every should report him, annoying as hell that passive agressive trolling is overlooked

if the ps4 rumors are true soon i shall be uploading DMC gameplay directly to youtube mwahahahaha. The main problem with co-op however is the combos i would hate to be in the zone and have some newberry completely scr ew my combo up by stealing my enemy or getting involved.

That aside now that royal gaurd is completely out of the picture maybe they could add a 1v1 PvP mode. Though i already know that's not really going to be very easy to implement mainly due to the way that DMC plays.

Remember how well Dante and Vergil worked together against arkham. Things like coop moves or extra stylish points for coop moves done in sync.

a better example would be the doupleganger style not the D&V vs arkham example. That wasn't really as fun once you look back on it

Exactly. Blacknerd. Can you imagine the possibilities? I launch an enemy, my friend continues attack in air as vergil, and launches enemy toward's the ground back to me, and so forth. I Can only imagine what some of the really good players would be able to do.

I don't think PVP could work without substantial reworking of combat systems, but maybe, it would be fun. I did enjoy it in Dark Souls even if it was pretty much best gear + parrying skills + (this dude has a trainer, **** I'm dead). :P

Didnt have any friends to play with like that :C

Especially if you two plan it out and know what to do.

I love this thread...shame it's more and likely going to go off topic really quick :c
But, we can make the co-op work!

Yeah, I should have mentioned that Capcom/NT put some real work into it, maybe this way they can do a special edition rerelease during summer or something. I mean if they add some decent matchmaking based on skill it would be ideal. But then again, just because you can't find a good friend to play with doesn't mean the mode shouldn't exist. Ie, the best teams will be people who know what they're doing and can adapt to each others attacks and set up combos for each other.
