DmC: Devil May Cry Hands-On Preview – Angels and Demons

Its fun to nit pick at everything DmC does differently than Classic DMC.
The truth is a lot of us liked DMC for what it was. The only time we've raised our voice concerning DMC is when Nero entered the picture because he was just their. I really liked Nero he was voiced by the awesome Johnny Young B. (who by the way, played Adam the 2nd Black MMPR) he had a great simple moveset and he looked cool. The game flat out tells us that Nero has Sparda's blood in him.
The game hints its a kin/relative relationship and the Novel (for those of you who take it as gospel) hints strongly that Nero is Vergil's son. So their you go mystery solved.
We know who Dante,Vergil, and Nero are, we love the DMC game play and pretty much everything about it. So when we see NT who did not create DMC make all these changes in the name of "modernize" we just flat out get ****ed. I'm not bashing DmC because I'm looking forward to playing it but its just fun to nit pick on DmC and that's the simple truth. :)

Not because of the gameplay, because i they messed up the story more.
Well,if you think about it,DMC 1 doesn't have some sort of continuity unless you're really good at stories.

DMC1 at best could spawn one prequel and one sequel. DMC3 was a great prequel, lacked enough enough to fill some minor plotholes, and DMC2 was a bad sequel, with some decent gameplay. DMC4 , like iv'e said before, is really the odd ball out.
