DmC Devil May Cry Development Team Has Over 90 Members

What makes you think that P* has a bigger staff than NT? VJ was made by 15 people. That was Clover's first game, god knows how many people actually work there now, could be 40, could be 400 (though I don't see how that would be possible). Veterans though they may be they still have to deal with the same issues as other small studios, and they are a small studio, like time constraints and budgets, just like NT, and they managed to make games. Why didn't NT just make budget titles for PSN or the Marketplace between HS and Enslaved?

I just find it really weird that a studio can stay afloat with such few titles in such a large spand of time.

I should also point out that NT worked on Enslaved while they worked on DmC so they do have enough people to work on two seperate projects.

At around 2010, Platinum had around 120+ employees.

Ninja Theory has 100+

Yes, veterans also have to deal with time constraints and budgets but they are called veterans for a reason. They are more efficient at doing their work and can deal with problems better than the average employee. One skilled employee may be worth 2-3 normal employees.

Also, why do you find it weird that NT is still alive? Their games may not have sold as much as they wanted but who said that they didn't make enough money to stay alive?

Lastly, please provide me with a link showing that NT was working on DmC while they were also working on Enslaved.

That's quite impressive, a lot of people working to make a game.

Games are basically movies, now. Lots of people working, lots of people testing, lots of people focusing on efefcts and so on.

Not bad for Ninja Theory, I hope they manage to keep going with their projects. In my view, they have the will to keep working. I hope they'll try to focus on a new IP, though. Every game runs at 30 fps. maybe they can develop next games with 60 fps.

You want a link? Enslaved came out while DmC was in development. NT blamed low sales of Enslaved on angry DMC fans. Do you really need documentation just to put two and two together?

I find it weird that they're alive because a company that doesn't do anything isn't making money. How are they paying their employees if the aren't making a profit?

As for the number of employees is 20 people really the difference between a large and amall company? With those numbers they're about the same size. Certainly isn't a large enough number that one studio can work on moretitles than the other.

1. Did anyone from NT EXPLICITLY state that DMC fans were the one to blame for Enslaved's failure? NO. Feel free to prove otherwise.
2. Like I said, who said they didn't turn in a profit from their games?
3. Can your read my posts? Ninja Theory are relatively new to the business while the guys Platinum Games have far more experience. Experience means A LOT in the working field.

I worked for a 3D conversion company, we charged a rather large amount, which I can't discuss, for every film we converted. But at the end of the day they ended up letting go of the mayorety of the staff when a few projects fell through because they couldn't afford to keep us arounjd even on minimum hours. So unless HS and their Kung Fu game were one of the most profitable games that sold well for the many years they weren't producing work I can't see how they mangaed to pay their staff for all the time they spend not releasing games. It's a mistery to me, unless they laid off most of their staff while they were in between projects.

Yeah, I can read. I can also tell you that they can hire people who are experienced, and provably do, to make games. You don't really think the entire company is made of entree level employees, do you?

1. I still don't see NT blaming DMC fans for enslaved failure. It is the author of the article who thinks such.
2. We really do not know what goes on in NT so there really isn't any point asking how they are still alive after all these years.
3. I know that but when you look at platinum's games and their staff members, the difference between platinum and NT is apparent.
