DmC: Devil May Cry - Bloody Palace Gameplay

Defeating Frosts gives you about 11-14 seconds. Even defeating the lesser enemies, like the scarecrows, would give you around 5 to 7 seconds. And the starting time for BP was 2 minutes, which gave you A LOT of time to work with compared to DmC. I don't like the fact that time is playing a huge factor in DmC's BP since I never liked it to begin with. (Every time I mess around with BP, I always turn the time limit off)

I just don't like the idea of having a timed BP anyway. It's really annoying since you are being rushed to complete every level. I hated in DMC4 and I hate it more in DmC since it's worse.

lol For once, you and I agree on something. XD

The timer makes me feel rushed and it causes my gameplay to suffer. I can fight stylishly when I don't have a timer to worry about, but as soon as I see a time-limit on screen, I panic. And starting off with only 30 seconds in DmC is pretty crappy.

And let me guess, turning the time limit off is a PC only thing, right? *sigh*

I don't need it.

My guess is that BP might include options to disable/enable the timer. But that' just wishful thinking on my part.

I don't see the timer in DmC being that much of a problem. Yeah, you begin with 30 seconds, but you gain plenty of seconds per enemy (fixed amount, while in DMC4 you had a different amount of time depending on your style rank.).

Not that I see that as a problem. Timer on a survival mode is dispensable. However I am not impressed by the enemies waves so far.

You played DMC2-3 BP? 9999/end it without DT-costumes ?

DMC 3 BP was not that much hard if you knew how to deal with the bosses, and had lots and lots of patience. The option to go up 100 levels at time did help a lot in that department.

Not saying I did finish it with no super costumes though, got only about 70 levels (about lvl 7000 more or less) before rage-quiting.

That means you know, how to full heal yourself in every battle. "No timer" way to abuse cheap tricks, like "kiting".

The hell is "kiting"? If you're implying I use nothing but guns you're a damn liar. Anyone who's seen me play DMC knows I hate using guns.

I do not blame you. I'm talking about the possibility .....
Without timer any player can "kite" everything. Guns, right.

The timer doesn't seem that big of a deal in DmC because of how fast and seemless it loads the next level while you still retain your previous style. The higher the style your at when you kill a demon, the more time you get. So I think building up a lot of time will be much more fun that it was in DMC4, when i used to spam yamato and rebellion 2 and 1 combo over and over.

And i think its a little to early in the BP stage to say how easy it is when Getting up to lvl 19 in DMC4 was a walk in the park. Its like playing the demo over a million times and then calling the game soft.

I died a lot in DmD mode and i know i won't just walk right through 100 lvl's.......
and if i do...... Then capcom, I want my free money back!

When is it coming out is the question ... The player was wack I would have had a bunch of minutes by the time I went to wave 15
