the screens themselves if anyone didn't see them yet. I'm not like the look of the dMC3 vergil outfit but i rather see how it moves in actual footage first or a full image of it.

I hope these aren't the only available skins (it be cool if they were given an outfit that reflected each DMC story).

Ya know, I think these old school costumes on the DmC Dante and Vergil just proved Tameem's point about the "what was cool then ain't cool anymore" line. I mean, they look horrible, especially how this Vergil looks in the original Vergil's attire.

I dig the DMC1 costume for Dante though.

It's not the costumes that are bad, it's the people wearing them. New Dante and Vergil are more realistic in body, face, and movements. And as such, the costumes (which are more anime and fictional) don't mesh well with DmC's world (which is more western and non-fiction)

Oh Lord New Vergil looks ghastly with Classic Vergil's hair! New Dante still looks awkward with Classic Dante's hair too. :grumpy:

Lol, yeah the costumes in general will always be memorable, but the way the costumes look on the DmC characters, laughable. Like, that's one of the things that the old fans were asking for, riiiight? Unbelievable.

I'm still glad the old costumes are there. It allows me to associate these new (version) characters with the Classic ones I love. This is fantastic fan service. However it still looks goofy.

On the two skins we have now I prefer the DMC1 skin for Dante because Ive seen it in action and we have got a good shot of it full body.

So the problem with the DMC skins is that they sometimes clash with the more contemporary aesthetic of the reboot as they appear too custom so I think creating a new outfit that is based one of the classic stories but something tailored to fit the DmC world.

See THIS would've been a better outfit then what we got from DMC4.

It works as DMC4 inspired Skin because it has a urban cowboy look but I still the outfit from the PS3 teaser trailer so that works too.

This also works for the light novel where Dante was a mercenary.

I think you would have to rewrite the story of DMC4 to fit Dante as the lead and make him younger for the look to work tho. Its a post DMC3 look to me.

Also, I'm very concerned. Not a shred of DmC DE in Dutch stores, not even on PSN. WHAT IF I CAN'T PLAY IT ON RELEASE DATE? I'd be very unhappy about that. I'd totally buy it digital if the physical copy won't be available right away because I am such a big fan I can't even function without it.
