DmC anime?

have you seen the supernatural anime though?.
I haven't even seen the Supernatural tv series yet. People are telling me to check it out and I probably will eventually. I need to catch up on Game of Thrones though. I've got like 3 seasons of catch up to do with that.

Only if it was really good, and looked really good, then sure. But nothing too anime looking, ya know with the big scary eyes. That sort of style wouldn't work for DmC.

Don't be ignorant there is no such as "too anime looking". All anime has different styles and form.

If they use Mad House the animation/art design will most likely look like the DMC/Supernatural anime.

It would depend on the studio I think. Probably just me but when I hear someone say they hate anime, I tend to think they mean most of the shonen mainstream animes, the ones full of cliches and fillers. Show that same person Cowboy Bebop, Akira, or the Street Fighter animated movie, and I doubt they'd come away from that still hating the entire genre, even if they came away disliking them all.

I totally agree with this. There's no way that if DmC was done in a Cowboy Bebop, Akira, or even street fighter style would anyone think its too Anime. I still maintain Cowboy Bebop aesthetic would be incredibly awesome for a DmC TV series.

Woah, this has to be on purpose. Now I really want this to be a reality. What is the creator of Cowboy Bebop doing anyway?

Did the same company who made the movie make SS2V? Because that was some good writing!

I'm not really the guy for specifics. The only anime series I've loved has been Cowboy Bebop, and I distinctly remember watching Berserk, a long time ago, I was kinda depressed at how dark it was, but it was still incredibly awesome with all the political intrigue and over the top action. Guts, deserves another game, a really good game that matches the quality of the show.

Ohh...I learned to stop expecting high quality from anime based games they usually become mediocre at best (except for fighting games). Since anime games tend to wind up in the hands in rather small Japanese publishers and if does end up with big time Japanese publishers they don't give a damn that much so they hire a random dev company who are just in it to get work.

That's a sad reality, because a quality Berserk Hack and Slash just makes tons of sense.

Edit: We should discuss this in PM Nero, just to stay on topic or by editing the posts we already made, but I think Dynasty Warriors/Ninja Gaiden, not really DMC/GOW, I think the one I played was by Atlus, it wasn't 100% bad, but nowhere good enough to do justice to the source material.

Just had to post this Cowboy Bebop clip, for those who haven't seen the show, well don't watch it if you want to avoid spoilers and plan on watching this amazing series at some point.

Meh, I personally wouldn't really want a DmC anime, as I just don't find anime-aesthetics to really fit it (don't get me wrong, I actually like anime, but not really on DmC).
Apart from that, I prefer it if they explain things in-game, instead of explaining it in supplementary material.

But if we'd just go with the thought of them making it into an anime, I'd kinda like it to play before the events of the game, exploring Dante's life when he was, dunno, 16-18 maybe? I've just kinda got that headcanon about that very first trailer that was released back in 2010, with him still smoking and being held captive and seemingly tortured, to be what had happened when he was 16-18, so, yeah, that's something I'd like to see ^_^

I actually have that as my default intro loop in DmC, it was a nice mod by zeromancer, it's him on that gargoyle at night smoking a cigarette, which is really atmospheric and intriguing. I really would have loved to see the more macabre enemy designs they had originally wanted, the white porcelain masks on a lot of the enemies would have made them look extra creepy.

Ah, I think I've seen that mod! Gotta try to install it, it really is just such a beautiful thing.
Some of the enemy concepts really made me want a NT-Horror game, hehe(and I'm not even a horror game person :P). It's a bit of a shame they didn't use these concepts >.< Or how they inteted that some of these masks would slowly take damage until they'd reveal the ugly demon faces covered by them <3 *sigh* So many beautiful designs, never to be used....

I think its a good idea just to keep people interested and to make the wait bareable.

I would recommend STUDIO BONES who did the fullmetal alchemist animes, Darker than Black, Ao no exorsist etc to do it since they are pretty good at storytelling and being left to their own devices so you could leave them a skeleton of what you want and let them work

blue exorcist is on my top 10 list.

Studio bones for sure.

They crafted the masterpiece "Wolf's Rain."

Which was absolutely amazing, has an incredible soundtrack, and has amazing animation which could even put some of today's animation to shame.

im glad people liked my choice as i felt Studio Bones are exceptional at taking good stories and making them better. They do great fillers and thats technically what a Devil May Cry anime would be regardless of reboot status.

I would like a anime for Devil May Cry to run after the games come out having multiple seasons so having a studio that could be left to its own devices.

I would say having NT present in case they ever decide to do a arc revealing more about Eva and sparda because Studio Bones came under controversy for how they depicted Rin and Yukio's parent in Ao No Exorsist.

what controversy?
